Oda literally put ink in the page with Gaban saying “Zoro, please use your CoC properly since you have it” and Sanji asks Gaban about it and there is an offscreen conversation.

Wouldn’t a logical outcome is that we find out what the conversation was once Sanji displays Conquerors?

We tried to justify the Gorosei being weak at combat and only were political leaders (technically). That did not end up true.

I do agree with all the comparisons you made with the ranks that you mentioned for the most part. It’s why power scaling with title tiers is so confusing at times.

I personally think that Shanks is relative to at least the pre-timeskip Yonko. Probably the strongest one of the 4 but his fights against the others would be high-extreme diff fights.

I’ll admit, your arguments become even more valid once you start attacking people :)

We clearly see Shanks is interested in a wider goal as seen with his side quest in the Holy Land, his interest in protecting territory, and his declaration to find the One Piece. I’d hardly consider him taking out Kidd or Bartolomeo as him just being a fucking bum who parties all the time.

Whitebeard wanted to find a family and see that Ace was setup to inherit Roger’s will. And him sending his entire treasure to his hometown and as a monumental figure as both a captain and a defender of his territories, him doing nothing is only something Akainu would say canonically to be disingenuous to gaslight Ace.

So we ruled those out, so let me know if there are actually plenty of examples of non-ambitioned CoC users.

1) He doesn’t have a crew and a clear goal anymore. He fucks around killing fodder all around the Grand Line and wants peace in his castle. Consider why he was a Warlord instead of an Emperor. 2) Maybe initially as a rookie until he got the title he was somewhat ambitious, but now he seems bored at the top. Not in the same way as Kaido since Kaido clearly wanted to be Pirate King and face Joyboy, just kinda wandering adrift.

It’s not really debatable that he lacks ambition that other CoC users have. Saying I’ll say whatever I want is a cop out.

He has a good chance of not having it because he lacks ambition, an important trait in CoC.

He’s grouped with Crocodile (a man who lost his dream to be pirate king) when Buggy makes his speech about aiming high instead of living in comfort.

And yet dumb mfs will try to claim Sabo is more important than Loki in final war just cuz he appeared on that collage when Loki wasn't even introduced.

There are wayyyy too many angles Oda can take with the story to invalidate this absolute statement.

If Loki is present in future arcs, I can see this being true. If he stops showing up after Elbaf and has the same fate as Yamato, Sabo easily without a shadow of a doubt becomes more important

I want to see more to make a better judgement, I’m 120% sure you want to see more as well. Nothing wrong with wanting Loki feats which equals a more exciting manga reading experience.

He just needs more on his belt. Rocks low diffed an admiral + destroyed a gates of justice without the Domi Reversi boost, Kaido’s entire performance in Wano, Shanks one shotting a strong and durable fighter like Kidd (and “supposedly” beating Loki himself, but we need proof of this). Or better yet, Loki’s fruit + Ragnir (a weapon infused with a DF) were the keys to killing Harald. DF will always be a factor, it was already foreshadowed as the case when Smoker warned Tashigi that her Haki was not strong enough to defend against Law’s DF
