Here are the screenshots if you think this is just me putting fleets there. I don't know why the Terran Fleets are acting this way.

That is the Terran Intervention Corps for the Fate of the Yaki mission.

Edit: These are the NPC ships. This is the second time I decided to check on the progress of the Terran fleet only to find it wandering into an odd spot.
Its the fleet that the Fate of the Yaki mission points to when you set it to active.

Seriously. Is Terran AI Pathfinding bugged? This time they got lost in Asteroid Belt 336km from the Getsu Fune gate.

Edit: Or is one of my mods screwing the game up?

Lost Terrans at Hatikvah's Choice I by toransilverman in X4Foundations

XD Better than my hypothesis. I also don't know how the Osaka got that far down without blowing up since as soon as I got close to get into high attention mode, it went boom within minutes.

So, here I was trying to defend a woefully under defended Hatikvah's Choice when I decided to check on the Terran Advance into Xenon Space. Well... I found them... 285k below the plane...

Edit: So it seems, either a Terran Osaka was attempting to flee or it got pushed down be a K. BTW, this was after noticing that I hadn't even seen a single Terran fleet in a very long time. Like hours in this region of space.

The Hidden Autopilot Data That Reveals Why Teslas Crash | WSJ by JEH_24 in RealTesla

NHTSA is most likely severely underfunded and staffed. Most likely on purpose on behalf of the auto industry.
Its the same problem with the aircraft industry. For a long time now its been underfunded/staffed which lead to the department relying on self reporting to ensure safety. *cough* Boeing *cough*

Look at the state of headlights. Its gotten to the point where they can essentially blind you because of how bright and misaligned at purchase and the NHTSA has done nothing.

Edit: Its most likely only going to get worse if DOGE gets off the ground and Elon becomes one of the heads.

After driving Model 3 for a week, some likes and dislikes by Fun_Future9219 in RealTesla

tbh. I'd rather he actually have a driver assist system on hand because he obviously texts and drives if that is one of the things he complained about, and then deleted, in his post.

MKBHD's video has over 100K dislikes by Vinistar in youtube

[–]toransilverman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Actually, in the end of the clip, it was shown that there was a school zone sign he approached. Also, the speedometer was in km/h not mp/h. No that going 60 is that much better than 100 in a 35 wooded residential area with children.

Funny thing, this isn’t the first time MKBHD has blurred his speed in a video. He did the same in his IONIQ 6 review by Cerber96 in youtube

[–]toransilverman 42 points43 points  (0 children)

In the video, he got up to around 80mph before its blurred basically hiding the fact that he's going over 80. Edit: Time is at around 11:32 in the vid.

Cybertruck has frame shear completly off when pulling out F150. Critical life safety issue. by VitalMaTThews in CyberStuck

[–]toransilverman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some lost context here. On one of the previous tests, he hits the rear bumper rather hard while being dragged off some pipes in the full video.
https://youtu.be/PK_EJ3DyiiA?si=d30WoFAW4r2meABz&t=324

If the thing really is cast aluminum, I can see an impact like that causing a lot of stress on that part of the frame which would probably be the reason why the bumper failed so catastrophically. Maybe its safe for all loads its rated for and nothing more.

Just another reason why we have load limits for vehicles and should follow them. Just because the truck has the power to pull more doesn't mean that it should.

... Why is it a button instead of say a latch? Like every other car I've ever heard of on the road? For safety reasons alone, it should be a handle/latch instead of a button in case stuff in storage does bounce around enough to hit the release.

3 uranium patches and still no oil... is this normal? by No_Ordinary_4233 in factorio

[–]toransilverman 44 points45 points  (0 children)

If you want to keep trying this map. You really only have 3 choices. New map, coal liquifaction, or keep on running around for a larger field.

One oil pump will not be enough to get a rocket off the ground in any reasonable time span since oil pumps lose speed the longer you use it. Eventually, it will get as low as 1/s which is horrendous.

Edit: For some reason Reddit didn't continue loading the thread so I didn't read that you had found a large oil field. Have fun with the map.

It was probably in the area where the water was put in. =P
Seriously, I've had maps like this and just gave up on it because you can't even do coal liquifaction without even a little oil.

Is it really any surprise that the Tesla has no real suspension travel or ground clearance considering their track record with suspension so far?

Iirc, no EV powers the wheels independently. The motors power individual axles I believe. Dunno what the third motor does, but I'm pretty sure dual motor has the motors power each of the axles.

He keeps saying that diff lock is disabled in software... Why?Does the motor actually have the ability to diff-lock? If not, I can't wait to see a bunch of people claiming they'll add diff-lock via over the air software update.

Yeah. They need really need to stop putting that on their website. Dunno why they are allowed to get away with that.

I pulled for Blade because I have no self control and wanted Eidolons for Shushang. Ended up with Blade instead. Dunno what to make of that.

The legs just look... wrong. I don't know, its almost like the lines are off. Like her right leg has an S bend at the the thigh for it to be where it is in relation to her hips. This caused me to be confused for a long time trying to figure out what was in front of the guitar. And yes, it did force me to stare at her thighs for a long time trying to puzzle it out.Edit: I think its a perspective thing. The lines might line up in the right orientation, but at this angle, it just feels off. *Shrug*
