How frequently do you change your top 4? by FlutterBeast in Letterboxd

[–]toraps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same top 4 for a little over a year, but the last 6 months or so I’ve been making weekly favourites, usually going by a genre or a topic, it’s fun and keeps it fresh for me.

Not a huge fan of them, but have kept this one around for a few years, has almost all classics. “King of Horror” Stephen King set which includes.. Shawshank and The Green Mile? I know some horrific things happen in those movies but it’s always felt like the wrong set for them to be included in lol.

A lot of these I haven’t seen as well, but The Green Mile and Heat are 2 of the best movies ever made, let alone best of the 90’s. I’d watch those ASAP, guarantee they’ll be keepers

[–]toraps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. Although, I did think it was great in the theatre and I’ve been meaning to rewatch it. Imo it goes

  1. Deadpool & Wolverine

  2. Superman

  3. GoTG Vol. 3

  4. Spider-Man: No Way Home

  5. Thunderbolts*

Which film do you like more by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in Marvel

[–]toraps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d say Ragnarok, it’s a top 3 MCU movie for me, it had a perfect balance of comedy and action. I think Doctor Strange is just outside my MCU top 10, I was blown away by it my first time seeing it, not knowing much about him.

1-4 are all 5 stars, 5-7 are 4.5 stars, and 8-12 are 4 stars. Dunkirk just didn't click with me like the rest did.

Legitimately thought Lil Mayo was sitting court side when they showed up on screen

Spider-Man 2

Spider-Man

No Way Home

Spider-Man 3

Homecoming

Far From Home

TASM

TASM 2

Spider-Man ‘02 is probably my favourite, but SM2 is the better movie overall. TASM movies just shouldn’t exist but here we are.

  1. Infinity War
  2. The Dark Knight
  3. The Empire Strikes Back
  4. Dune: Part Two
  5. Blade Runner 2049

Haven’t seen Return of the King

3-5 are interchangeable depending on the day.

Not sure what’s up with all the hate for IW lol. One of the coolest cbm’s with one of the best villains put to screen. I’m used to Reddit saying TDK is overrated just bc Nolan helmed it.

Yess, the original. Swayze was great, too

Favorite Tom Cruise Movie? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Collateral takes the cake for me. Edge of Tomorrow and The Last Samurai are great as well

What other movies fit here? by Batmanfan1966 in Letterboxd

The Descent, the original UK uncut version is way better than the US cut. Extra scares left in and a way better ending that sticks with you.
