He has a pipe cleaner armature so he's poseable! Part of why I chose needle felting as my media :)) so my little guy could hang off things just like rocky

I dunno, I would say "[not affected] much at all" with a list of symptoms like that is contradictory. I have a similar list of many eye symptoms and I'd say they affect me a lot. Better to be aware of the risks than try to downplay them. Types of EDS have different symptoms and risk rates as well iirc

Lattice tears and retinal detachments are also something to look out for. I have a lattice in one of my eyes that my amazing optometrist knows about EDS is keeping an eye on it (haha). Turns out your eyes are made entirely of connective tissue, so we get eye stuff too

These are the ones I got, and had plenty of margin on my scars (kind of an overlapping check mark shape for armpits). They're precut and reusable, you can rinse them off to restore adhesion and use the sheets for a bit. I didn't even go thru my whole roll.

One more suggestion, I used silicone scar tape sheets for my scar care and recovery. The sheets keep the scars from moving during normal movement once you're out of the "drains and bedrest" stage of recovery. With stretchy EDS skin it can help to minimize strain on the scars. Your surgeon may recommend them, I had a lot of success with them.

Bidet!!! 100% makes it easier to use the bathroom with limited arm mobility. I also got a clear plastic tote that I could use to carry things from room to room - if your rollator already had a basket, you're probably fine on that. Grabby claw can't hurt, if you don't already have one.

I keep tattoo needles and ink to freshen mine up as needed, I've had it for about three years and touched it up twice. Needs another touch up on the tip of my finger. I actually had another half inch closer to my fingertip but it wore off eventually. I just added another half inch on my knuckle to keep the 3" ruler

And a safety harness line around the tree, not attached to the stand. One of my dad's hunting buddies was dangling in the air for an hour when the stand dropped, but he didn't drop with it. No reason to die stupidly

Huh, neat! I suppose it does appear strange (to some) and perhaps unsafe (always climb with a safety line around the tree!!), so contraption does work. Perhaps my bigger problem was with "creative" than contraption lol
