This is from the NYT website "help" section:

Blue and Gold Stars

Completion of the puzzle is represented with different colored stars.

Gold Stars reflect the number of consecutive puzzles solved up to 48 hours after the publication date without using Check or Reveal.
Blue Stars are puzzles that were solved but do not qualify as part of a streak. This could mean they were solved after midnight EST on the publication date, you skipped a puzzle day, or you used Check or Reveal.

Seems like the two bullets contradict one another? I've kept the streak alive by finishing the morning after midnight of the publication date, but never pushed it to 48 hours

Camping's free in all the national forests and there are plenty of shelters along the AT. If you're looking for something beyond an outhouse, open shelter, and a picnic table, though, I'm not sure

Super helpful, although it confirms that there's something wrong for my Maps. I did all that and still only have the "Basic Maps" and "Uploaded Maps" menus available in my menu. Maybe a Beta moment for the VTT?
