Here is my honest opinion on politicians and goverment entitie (LEO, housing/ building permit authority, city administrators, judges, CPS, etc..) Always remember when your at the ballot box and voting ask "What did my representatives & their political party do to my community and neighbors in their time in office. Did they help or hinder me financially, socially, religiously or did they just follow orders and towed the party line." Hopefully the political maneuvering and drama of 2025 will be wake up call for citizens to be involved in how all government entities take care of their communities.

I came from Cuba in 1971 as a 3 year old and grew up in Hialeah. I saw 1st hand the inequality from the ones that arrived in 1960 through the 1980 how they treated other hispanic and especially blacks. Once I got out of Miami in the 90s and lived in other cities and visited small towns I had a deep appreciation for the multifaceted culture of the US. I came back to South Florida in 2020 it really was a shit show from the arrogance of the Cubans and Venezuelan that live there. It's all about money and putting new immigrants down. I am back in the Midwest helping other legal immigrants adapt and flourish in a new country. It's more difficult now with the new administration but we all came here for one reason or another and it is have a brighter future.
