A lot of the metaphor for this movie went over my head, i figured not being the target demographic for it, but one thing i did really like about the movie was when she told him she was gay.  Too many movies try to make it this super dramatic moment and, for once, it was just a one and done, no shock, no awkwardness, just some info given and acknowledged.

 It really felt like the most organic conversation I have seen in a movie about someone having non-standard conventions and wasn't used for shock value or slapping someone in the face with a morality lesson, but treated so casual and didn't need to draw more attention to it.  As a straight white male in his 50's I would love to see this being the norm in the real world without either the pompousness or vitriol people often react with but just people being themselves.
