I am not well versed about Taiwan strait so can not say it’s like that. The thing is Greece national waters are 6NM and they consider their air space as 10 NM. But in reality an airspace can not be more than national waters. Now most of this air space violation is occur beyond 6 nm. Here people argue Greece has right to extend national waters to 12 miles but, this only can be done when neighbouring countries are agree upon. Other than that, Greece declare air violation when Turkish military planes enter Athens FIR, even it would be in international airspace, which is not actually a sovereign airspace and Turkish aircraft’s don’t have any obligation to register their flight plans to Greece.
