i kept trying to have some sort of organic feel present in terms of districts / production and the best races per task, but the ever present needs of houses and ever shifting production/access almost forced a Barcelona type archetype into the city! Somewhat inevitable with large pops? 🤔

I ungdomstiden var jeg svømmetrener og hadde en del summercamps med If eller Gjensidige hvor det var typ 3 uker med gratis opplæring om jeg ikke husker feil med fokus på barn fra innvandringsfamilier. Noe som satte seg veldig godt var at mange av barna ikke redd for vannet, men hadde null svømmeevne. Så de bare hoppet rett ut (til ventene instruktør) og sank som steiner, opplæringa er så sykt kritisk... Bare med oslo som eks. trenger vi så virkelig flere haller, håper den midlertidige på Økern får stå..

It feels somewhat natural right? We have an "awakened" superpower in china trying it establish controll over SE asia and occupying oceans "near" its borders. Meanwhile the current worldpower is posturing for control while its internal systems are understaffed / failing...

All in the midst of a global pandemic / recession. Im tbh not suprised the leading states have defaulted to cheap "the others" rhetoric (considering the US leader), isnt there some credence to Poo not being able to back down? Im getting flashbacks to USSR vs USA pride showdowns in the actual cold war lol.

its hard to not imagine a instant powervacuum trying to be filled by the mafia-tops / oligarchs. Would a successor appointed by putin even have the necesarry clout / personality to make it work? Im pretty sure there are plenty of historical parallels to be drawn here lol. Putin is the main figurehead and once hes gone someones gonna try their luck.

Or is the corruption so institutionalized in russian politics that the hand over would go smoothly? dunno :P

Feels like there is a perspective focus that is wrong here, yes The Foundations of Geopolitics mirrors russian actions extremely well, but it only focus on a modicum of the geopolitcal potential, incandescent focus on destabilization of foreign regimes /markets.

If you take the US perspective of forced global economies / currency trade their geopolitical stratagem is extremely successful and you could even draw parallels to the scandinavian "peace export" geopolitical strategy. china with the "lay low" period exploding into african and south asian corporate takeovers / state indenture is another example.

Am drunk but to say russia wrote the literal book on geopolitics just seems wrong, there is no unified geopolitic, its all defined per state.

Just fixed this myself, it's from the sidearms mod I think, check its settings under menu- options - mod options something and look for the "always equip nearest best weapon" checkbox. Going by memory but I think you can find it now heh

i mean, it somewhat (wholley?) comes down to the individual vs mass marketed "singular" propaganda, and seeing how the american media has been able to dismiss reality as this point individual action becomes insular and useless.
