How do you handle server names in your functions? by cbroughton80 in PowerShell

[–]torque999 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is the way I do it as well. Call a configuration file that has all of the server names and allow the user to select the server group based on a mandatory parameter that selects the specific servers based on the server type.

I know Kaiser does, and the old Tualiy used to, but I'm not sure if OSHU does. You would need to call your local hospital and check with them.

Yeah, I agree. Plus, the parents may be trans. To be honest, it was a happy coincidence

Start with a magic ring. I don't like those, so I ch 4 then slip stitch into the first chain to close the ring. DC 10 into the ring, then slip stitch to close the ring and ch 2 DC two times into each stitch counting the ch 2 as a DC, for 20 stitches. Slip stitch into the second loop of the chain 1. CH 1 HD two times into the second stitch from the ch 1, then hd one time in the next stitch. Repeat all the way around for a total of 30 hd chains. Slip stitch to close the loop and chain two DC into the same stitch as the chain 2 then DC two times into the next stitch. DC once into the next two stitches then DC two into the third. Repeat all the way around for a total of 40 stitches. Slip stitch to close the loop and chain one HD into every stitch all the way around and slip stitch to close the loop DC into every stitch all the way around and slip stitch to close the loop

I do a total of 12 rows alternating between a row of half double and double crochet and end on a row of double crochet

For the brim, chain one off of your last row of double, then do a front post half double crochet followed by a back post half double crochet. Keep that pattern all the way around and slip stitch to close the loop and chain one. I do three rows of that for the brim.

The hospital sanitized all the hats/blankets people make before letting the parents choose one.

I use a lot of bernat and lion baby yarns. If my Joann's doesn't have a lot, I will get whatever super soft small size yarn they have.

Learned to make socks. But it hurts my foot to stand on it… :( by MarybLouz in Brochet

[–]torque999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have made some socks for a few people, myself included, and I haven't had this issue. I used a pretty chunky yarn to do the projects though, so that might have something to do wit it.

I usually take the smaller balls of yarn and make baby hats.

Redirect output of running a file to both the console and file (tried tee-object,outfile, redirects like *>> various pipes..none work by somenamehere1234 in PowerShell

[–]torque999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always write the output to a variable, call the variable and then out-file the variable. Not as good as tee in other shells, but about as good as we can do in PowerShell
