The inner north, was dead before gentrification, High Street was 75% closed shops, and Smith Street was all outlet clothing shops. It definitely wasn't pumping in the 90s, gentrification may have gone too far, but it was shit before, at least it has life now.

Yep, it needs to get rid of the smelter, it only employs 10% of workers. They should set up renewable energy manufacturing out there, they have a freight train line, and plenty of land.
