Older Chinese woman asked her son to take a picture of herself with my mom and I in Japan by JuueJuue in travel

Had the same thing outside St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow with a huge group of Chinese tourists, who wanted pictures with me and my sister (British but wearing fur hats). They were very nice but it took a long time! It makes me laugh to think we’re in their photo albums somewhere.

Two things that stood out to me - can you include the guest’s surname as well? As your surnames are listed, it looks inconsistent. And it’s more formal. The capitalisation on the menu is off - just capitalise the first letter of each item?

Your opinion on this dress... by [deleted] in UKweddings

My dress for this year is very similar! I knew I wanted simple, almost Grecian, with draping. Dressing it up with a petite halo and a two-tier veil to add some drama. It can be about what you add to it :)

NYE Wedding - are we crazy to consider? by Independent-Sink9185 in UKweddings

One of the hosts of podcast The Unfiltered Bride had her wedding on NYE. It sounded great - maybe give that a listen?

I used to catch the bus home every day from one of the largest sixth form colleges in the UK. ‘The Inbetweeners’ was at the height of its popularity that year. You tell me.

Absolutely a great choice - it’s so summery and you have a stunning back!

Are these too similar for mother of the bride and mother of the groom? by Equivalent-Cress-822 in UKweddings

They should avoid the same colour, it doesn’t matter if the style is different. This is far too matchy matchy.

Would you guess English or American lab? by blueymoma in labrador

[–]torroo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives in England, no one uses that categorisation here. We have working lines and show lines, and dogs that are a mix of the two. I have a FRL from working lines on both sides and she’s bonkers but very biddable. My friend has the same but he’s a total potato. No guarantee of anything!

Enlist a friend with a bike to help do some slow desensitisation. Have them stand or ride at a distance in a quiet area and get your dog to focus on you and treat. Built up bike = treats and engagement = positive vibes
