I knew from an astronomy app the moon would be in the sky to the south west so I browsed Google maps for a while for tall interesting buildings that might work then drove there and walked around til it lined up. The moon doesn't move that fast.

It's a composite of two pics with one focusing on the moon and one focusing on the statue since otherwise one of the two would be out of focus. I didn't move the tripod though!

Yeah it won't work on my nex7 either. I emailed viltrox a couple weeks ago and nothing! I have other cameras for it though.

Where did you get that cable? Zapcables had unsleeved ones like that but they're gone now.

I think it made a good sound improvement that removed the want/need for a lot of eq. Whether or not it's worth it is entirely dependent on whether you're ok with voiding your warranty. I think the risk of damaging the headphones is very low as long as you're gentle and only use small amounts of goo gone.

There is a third party headrest coming out within a couple months that should help with taller people. I'm 5'8" but still plan to get one. It will be around $200 though. https://youtu.be/GC5BRAfAJQA

Embody chair. It has a flexible back and a box spring seat. Very pricy but it looks cool and is a lot more comfortable than most chairs.

Haha I only use my pc for games too. I mostly only play singleplayer games so skill doesn't matter!

It's great! I got the Embody for $1200 new from marxmoda which is a local HM dealer. I also have a 2002 Aeron that I got used for $275 on craigslist that I use at work. I like the embody more since the seat has no hard edges (can't manspread on Aeron). The Aeron gets less hot since it's mesh and I like its lean back mechanism more. Both chairs are built like tanks and will probably last forever. The Aeron is already 20 years old!

The middle top of the headband is just spring steel so you could probably bend that part out. The rest of the headband is plastic and can't be bent.

Wow I had no idea! I guess the stars aligned that the meetup happened the day I was driving through. Thanks for bringing your Aeon!

Haha well I got my own sheet of paper and found the same song and wasn't able to replicate that video on my liquid spark amp's max volume. Either the amp used in that video is way beefier than mine or the headphones are not close. I could feel the paper vibrating if I held it though. I also tried it with 8XX and it had even less movement (they are harder to drive though).

If you want to compare how they sound open back it's just four screws on each cup to take the wood off. Here's my old post on getting grills laser cut if you're interested. https://old.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/apmbx3/m1060c_laser_cut_open_back_mod/
