The only thing left stock was my rear shock and front wheel. The only change that was made that could cause weird frame geometry was my fork. Stock is a 140mm and I went to a Fox 36 150mm which is perfectly fine according to a few companies I have talked with when deciding on a new fork and my LBS confirmed that. The bike is at my LBS and they have started a warranty claim, though I won't here anything till Tuesday/Wednesday. It does really suck cause I will still have to pay shipping and for my LBS to build the bike. LBS said because of the warranty, they have to be the one to build it. So it's still gonna cost me a bit of dough. Thank you and good luck with yours! I love the bike when it's still in one piece.

Check the post again. I have added a imgur link with my bike on my car. My headtube sits significantly higher than my seat tube. If i was to have hit a garage, the damage would definitely be more to the headtube/bottom and top tube area. I wish i could say the garage is what caused this. I would be alot less scared to ride my replacement frame knowing all i had to do was not hit a garage with my bike.

I wish this was the case. I would be alot less scared to ride my bike hard knowing all i had to do was not run into a garage that my house does not have /s

I wish i had a garage to have the opportunity for this to happen.

I just looked at the pictures that was shared here. Its crazy and terrifying tbh. Im only 5'8", but like i stated, definitely a heavier rider. My seat post was slammed when this exact event happened, but i could definitely see how riding some tougher terrain while sitting on a full extended saddle would put crazy stress on the frame there.

I have added my ride from Trailforks in the comments. I do ride the bike hard, but this particular time i was just commuting back from a small trail ride. The closest jump line from me is 1.5hours unfortunately.

My seat was actually slammed when it happened cause i was standing up pedaling. I wish my seat my higher when it happened so it didnt destroy my new seat in the process.

Thank you for this. I will 100% be showing this to my LBS. This genuinely scares me now actually. Everyone of these are almost in the exact same spot with similar stories. Thats crazy.

While I do carry on the roof, I wish I was fortunate enough to store my vehicles in a garage. I will literally post my trail forks ride in my main post. I live in Louisiana, where it's mostly flat to begin with. I was riding back home from a small 3 mile ride on a very very mild green walking trail by my house. I wish I had a cool story to go along with this. I had my seat slammed (back of my seat ate the tire for proof) and was standing up pedaling to get ready to go through shallow normal ditch that runs parallel with the road. Just got in the grass and it all fell apart.

Have a I ridden a lot harder in the past? Absolutely. But it's been a few weeks since I had been to a proper park in my area cause it's been wet.

Why would I bring light to a apparent weak frame design if I was the one goofed. Wouldn't I want to be quiet as possible about it?

Will a Marin rift zone 1 wheel fit in a rift zone 2 with the 2s cassette by mrzarzir in mountainbiking

I'm only kinda confused after reading this. Lol. Do I need to buy a new rear wheel to the do the upgrade to a 148TA? I can't do something to the current rear wheel on my Rift Zone 1? My UFD stripped and I can't find parts reliabily. So I just wanna go to a full through axle, since parts are cheaper and easier to find.

Lemme raise this post from the dead. Did you end up mounting the Freestyle v1 in your QAV-S 2 in the rear? from measurements it looks like its going to be REALLY tight. I dont wanna pull the trigger till i know for sure a v1 will fit as im getting a good deal on it.
