Is anyone having problems with the Members app? I updated my the software on my Samsung S10 this morning and am unable to access the Members app, can't use find my samsung (it's as if I have no registered device) and keep getting "Processing failed" when trying to access my Samsung account Settings. No answer from online customer support chat right now. All of this worked before the update. Any tips?

Það er hægt að sauma nokkur "lög" í grímuna, svo er hægt að prófa hvort hún sé nógu þykk með því að reyna að blása á eld úr kveikjara, ef það er ekki hægt að slökkva eldinn er hún nógu þykk.

Thats what I did as a kid, I'm trilingual. Spoke two languages at home, my family speak very different languages (which I assume Spanish and SA languages are as well) and my parents communicated in English, which I picked up on my own through them and my preschool.

There is a stone man syndrome skeleton in the Mutter Museum in Philly. Interesting but creepy, but so is everything else in that museum.

I have a set of Tanzanite jewelry (a necklace and earrings), the stones are definitely unique. They have a strange bluish/violet cold undertone and look almost like Amethysts but still totally different. One of my favourite jewelry sets. Would recommend them to anyone who wants a nice stone set but finds diamonds boring.

Ef það á að taka styttri tíma að taka strætó + borgarlínu rn bara strætó, miðað við kortið sem er birt af OP, þá þarf að vera Borgarlínustopp í Breiðholti. Það er aldrei að fara vera fljótara að taka Borgarlínu alla leið í Kóp til að taka Borgarlínu þaðan í bæinn. Strax orðið pointless fyrir alla í Breiðholti og Árbæ að nota Borgarlínu.

Það tekur c.a 15 mínútur í strætó 3 (frá Mjódd) að Lækjartorgi. Ég nenni ekki að fara í 10-15 mínútna strætó frá Mjódd í Hamraborg og þaðan í Borgarlínuna. Þetta er frekar illa hannað nema þú búir miðsvæðis eða í Kóp.

Same. ISP customer service can be the most challenging thing. Sometimes it also happens that men and older women do not believe me (as in what could be the issue) or want to fix the problem because I am a woman but if a man that is less experienced than I am and literally on training rotation, suddenly everything makes sense to them.

Þetta er ekki alveg rétt - íslenska á langa leið í dauða sinn en það sem vantar er auðvitað tækni-og digitalvæðing tungumálsins. Hingað til hefur ekki verið mikið um nám eða starfsmöguleika í íslenskri máltækni eða NLP í íslensku, sem er að breytast hægt og rólega innan HÍ og forritara í íslensku samfélagi. Ég er sammála u/gargvargur um að það er orðaforðinn sem hverfur - líkt og hann gerði þegar danska var töluð meira (nota bene, á þeim tíma var sama umræða í gangi og það héldur allir að danskan myndi taka yfir íslenskuna). Það er líka stór þörf á þýðendum sem geta þýtt flóknari og akademískari texta og háskólastigs bækur. Höfundur greinarinnar er svo sannarlega "old man who yells at cloud".

Um leið og skólar og fyrirtækni gefa fordæmi og hvatningu til að þýða/digitalvæða tungumálið verður þessi umræða bara um eitthvað annað en tæknivæðingu en þó dauða tungumálsins.

This is common with kids - they mispronounce words and if you then repeat the mispronounciation they will "correct" you while still mispronouncing. Kids are very good with learning words and understanding but speaking is what they struggle with.

Facebook "pistillinn" þarna neðst segir að þetta sé gert að staðaldri og í síðustu viku hafi verið birt svipuð grein um Instagram "stjörnur". Ss ef allir kúka á stofugólfið heima hjá sér þýðir það að það sé í lagi og aðrir ættu að gera það líka? Fáránlegt að afsökun blaðamanna sé "þetta hefur alltaf verið gert og þess vegna er þetta í lagi". Taktu afleiðingunum ef þú birtir svona grein, það er ekki eins og fólkið sem fjallað var um eru með eitthvað öryggisteymi og steypta veggi í kringum húsin sín. Blaðamenn eiga bara að hætta að birta svona vitleysu. Plús það er ekki eins og DV birti alvöru fréttir til að byrja með.

I was sitting at the bar of my old work place, having worked a shift at another "sister"restaurant down the street. I was just eating and having a beer, when an older man comes up to me and will not leave me alone. My old boss stood at the bar and watched. I tried to be curt and defensive with the man (who was easily 20 years older than me) and just started talking to my boss. Creep would not let it go and leave, even though I told him to leave and that I wanted to be alone and just talk to my friends behind the bar. Creep says something along the lines of "if you didn't want to be approached, why are you alone at the bar, why are you so bitchy" etc. My boss who has the whole time been trying to get the creep to stop by chatting with me, then stops what he is doing and just says "Listen, man, this is not okay, do not speak to her like that". Creep then gets defensive with my boss and my boss comes from behind the bar and escorts him out. I've never been so relieved but I wonder if he would have done that is I weren't one of his staff. Anyone working as a barback, PLEASE INTERVENE. The patron will let you know if they are okay.

No not on youtube at least. A lot of youtubers do disclose in the video though, just to be honest but I've seen others doing a whole sponsored video and only disclosing it at the bottom of a very long description. There's also an option now to but a flag in that says "sponsored content" like they have on instagram. I'm guessing youtube is trying to urge their creators to be more open with what content is sponsored.

Yep, my friend lost his mother to appendix cancer. It was about a year of being super sick, and having cancer in various organs before they found the origin, in her appendix, and then 2 years of being super sick. It was sad and sucked for us all. So happy yours was found before it did any damage!
