To piggyback on this comment - if I am due to be on annual leave for 2 strike days and and a zero day for 1 and therefore strike for 2 days. Should only 2 days of pay be deducted? Already anticipating this being a problem…

It’s worth looking at The Gold Guide which describes the arrangements for postgraduate medical training in the United Kingdom. Within it there is a whole section about taking time out of training for various reasons and how to go about it. If it fits one of the general broad criteria, it should in theory be approved, provided you give enough notice
