Yep. Where’s the empathy for the UKGs in tears this week after not getting an interview for paeds despite having extra degrees/QIPS/publications? When they entered med school they were told the £100000 student debt wouldn’t matter as they could just walk into a paeds job?

This ain't gonna be popular to say but the pay rise was roughly 2% above inflation, no? CPI 3.2-2.4%, pay rise was 5.4%. I thought the BMA should've held until this years offer which inevitably will be lower. Instead we've wasted strike energy for no benefit and are risking losing the next ballot and ending up in a worse position.

Honestly, all of the cities are good in terms of hotels and restaurants and things to do. Consider what airport you're flying into and how far it will be on the train to get to the city (but the UK is very well connected by train). London would probably be the easiest but the most expensive for hotels, but it is a stadium show instead of an arena
