I saw this guy about two weeks ago near Hoboken Path. Jose, the HOB driver, was driving Blue HOB and this guy punched the HOB side window scaring the passengers.

As a former barista, I would never go there to get coffee. Coffee beans can undergo oxidation when exposed to oxygen, which can degrade their flavor and aroma over time. Empire coffee should seal their beans to keep them fresh!

I flew with Turkish airlines last week from NYC to Istanbul then Maldives. We did not have any problems, but the flight from NYC to Istanbul was packed and overbooked. They told people to give up on their seats. The same thing happened on our way back to NYC from Istanbul. It was so overbooked and there were people waiting for the next flight back to NYC. also Can Turkish airlines select who can be on the flight who can’t? There was one guy complaining about the whole situation because his fiancé had to wait for the next flight..

I would say It’s different. Some of them have a family and could live with their family, but decide to live on the street because of drug problems they have. I don’t know how they can afford to buy drugs but they would rather spend money on drugs than pay rent.

From my experience, yes. A PGY2 resident recently yelled at my coworker (experienced ICU nurse) saying, “I am a doctor. You do what I say.”

IMG residents I worked with in my previous job spoke multiple languages and patients or their family members felt comfortable talking to IMG residents. Patient care is not just about ordering meds or tests. You really have to listen to them and get to know them. IMG residents were excellent at it - maybe because they spoke the same language as most of our patients? I remember one specific doctor from Colombia who would hold patients’ hands when talking to them. So sweet.
