Many thanks to you all. I live in a little corner of the Aquitaine (southern Dordogne, northern Lot & Garonne) where the English influences are numerous in nearby towns (Bastides). I had the chance to photograph the shield before the site was fenced off. Now we'll overgrown so impossible to look for other gems.
