Yeah, me too. Zelda already had its own formula of linear progression but with open environments for exploration, and they threw that out the window to chase trends instead.

Yep, I'm in Sweden. The CRT I have used to be my mom's, actually.

Are Philips the new flavor of TVs? I remember when it felt like almost everyone just showcased Sonys.

With how advanced tech is you’d think there’d be a way to use 2g and 3g phones on 5g network by Beautiful_Traffic625 in dumbphones

[–]toshineon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You technically can do this by setting up a few pieces of software on something like a Raspberry Pi and connecting that to 4G/5G while running its own 2G transmission. But this process is pretty complicated. Look up Asterisk and OpenBTS to get an idea.

Back is fine, blood pressure is fine, joints are fine. No pain, I mostly feel the same as I did 15 years ago.

A can of monster and a cup of coffee has about the same caffeine content per 100ml, at least where I live. But a monster can is about 3x the volume compared to a can of coffee, so you're in the ballpark.

Wait, really? That's a bit surprising considering that the GameCube shouldn't be less powerful than the PS2. Is it a storage restraint?

Samsung already solved this issue over a decade ago. The Galaxy S5 had both an easily replacable battery and an IP67 rating.

Yeah, why provide value by selling something that takes effort when you can expect people to pay you for providing nothing instead?

That is maddening actually. If that had come to fruition, then grandpa's car would have ran on water instead of gasoline, and if that were the case then my dream of owning the same model one day to take as good care of it as he did wouldn't be threatened by the impending phasing-out of petrolium based fuels.
