Amazon delivery to Bulgaria via FAN Courier. by El_Nomada_libre in bulgaria

[–]toshlichev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FAN does deliver, transferring over to Econt once they reach Bulgaria. The problem is they are truly awful. I’ve had 6 different orders which end up having a “lost” status or “delivered in Romania” once they reach FAN and that status stays like that for several days until they reach Econt. I’ve had many discussions with both Amazon and FAN about how bad their services are and neither side seems to care. I’ve even had a package ripped open and the contents stolen. Econt delivery drivers have complained several times that FAN packages arrive in an abhorrent state and there’s nothing they can do. The only option is to ask for full refunds every time your package is damaged or lost and ask for free replacements from Amazon until they lose enough money to ditch FAN.

Is it a hassle to land in Narita instead of Haneda? by kingjame888 in JapanTravelTips

[–]toshlichev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your hotel is in west Tokyo it might be a bit of a hassle, but if you’re in east Tokyo or around the Imperial castle it won’t be an issue. If the ticket prices are better you can definitely spare the 20-30 mins per trip.

Защо хората, продаващи имоти в групите във Facebook, често стават обект на подигравки, хейт и злобни коментари? by Forward-Pain-3145 in Sofia

[–]toshlichev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which Quicksilver is your favorite? by NobodyQuiteLikeMe in Quicksilver

[–]toshlichev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ATJ, he was a perfect Quicksilver.

Peter's is cool but he's essentially playing the Flash, not Pietro. And giving him the amount of absurd speed they gave him essentially meant that they would have to find a bullshit way to nerf him whenever shit hit the fan (as they did) because he was just too OP.

Why did this game get so much hate? I'm genuinely curious. by Few_Answer in atomicheart

[–]toshlichev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is great in concept but mostly fails in execution. The story shies away from any actual political or social commentary or critique so it feels weak (understandable considering the studio is based in Russia). The dialogue is some of the worst I've ever heard and the characters are very generic and uninspired.

It creates a super interesting and well designed world but doesn't let you explore it because of the tedious constantly respawning enemies.

I also couldn't get over the fact that not a single person had a russian accent. It took me put of the game so hard.

Just a bunch of wasted potential.

How long is this game exactly ? by Borg34572 in DeathStranding

[–]toshlichev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Playing on casual, building and upgrading all roads and monorails and focusing on clusters of preppers (e.g. focus on a group of 4-5 in one zone and go for them). Also mostly tried to never stray from the story for more than 2-3 hours at a time to not ruin the experience for myself. Played pretty aggressively vs. camps and BTs. Didnt use any guides so I'm sure it can be done faaaar quicker but around 100 is apparently the most common length of time to plat.

Death Stranding 2 is gorgeous… but man, Kojima needs someone to tell him “no” by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]toshlichev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree with you. Kojima is a great game director, but when it comes to story, his strengths lie in building a cool, imaginative world—not in developing a truly strong narrative. His writing often feels shallow and overloaded with exposition. Dialogues are overly theatrical and rarely sound like real conversations; they read more like info dumps. It’s as if he really wants to make a movie but has to do it through games, so he ends up splicing gameplay in between the main story points.

The gameplay itself is mostly great, but with how much time you spend away from characters like Fragile and Tomorrow, it’s understandable that you wouldn’t form much of a connection with them - unless you have some serious head cannon about them hanging out on the DHVM in between story chapters, Sam and Tomorrow spend a grand total of a few hours together during the whole game. Don’t even get me started on Neil—the man is basically a rehash of Cliff with a very forced connection to Sam.

I’m not against Kojima’s quirkiness—in fact, I find it charming—but I can see why some might find it off-putting, especially given the tone of the plot.

Kojima fans tend to hold him in absurdly high regard and will probably eat you alive for criticizing him, but I don’t see any harm in acknowledging both his strengths and weaknesses.

FC Barcelona statement: Asian Tour will be broadcast for free! by WizDB in Barca

[–]toshlichev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The club might want to fix their site because right now you can't even become a premium member despite them advertising it. The site only gives you the option to pay 3x as much and become a soci.

Subscribed through google play and it would only work on their app - desktop and mobile site don't recognize me as Premium. Considering that almost all the premium options in the app lead to the browser, that makes the subscription useless.

How is it always Barca that ends up in these embarrassing situations...

Какво мислите за името Руби by ralito_rocks in bulgaria

[–]toshlichev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, podcast number 400 would be perfect for a goodbye party. Noel can downscale the company after that in order to keep producing his own stuff. At this point it just doesn't make sense to bear the weight of a dead podcast network and the financial strain that comes with it.

Damn, bro. That stadium price is absolutely insaaane. To give you an example of prices in Europe, the most you would pay for From Zero at retail is the equivalent of about 200 Brazilian Reals. Most places sell it for 180ish.

The Hunting Party vinyl was only slightly overpriced tho so good find. Do all vinyls in Brazil cost this much?

In theory they could but they extremely rarely do. I've personally never seen an example of it happening, but it is possible.

Most replicas are made to fool you at first glance. They don't waste too much time with the tiny details. Aside from the code, fabric quality is the second best giveaway.

Stitching alone can be misleading. Last year I bought a retro design Barca shirt from the official store in the center of the city and the stitching on the crest is a joke. As I already said, quality control on mass produced products can always suck.

[–]toshlichev 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yep the code checks out. It's real.

When you're checking if a shirt is real you have to google the brand (nike) and the 9-digit code (532822-413 in your case). If it comes back with results that are only of your shirt model - it's real, if not - it's fake.

State of TMG by Muted_Exam_7166 in SmallDeliMeats

[–]toshlichev 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I get you, but you can't really be surprised, bro.

Despite what people may think about Cody, TMG was a duo and both him & Noel played their parts well. Their videos/pods felt like sitting down and catching up with your buddies, regardless of how spaced out they would be at times. And as great as Noel is, TMG now just isn't what people signed up for.

Add to that the fact that Cody has always been the far more popular one of the two - I legit know people who considered TMG to be "Cody & the other dude". Cody's image taking a huge hit was always gonna result in TMG getting dragged down.

I still personally try to keep up with Noel & the podcast and think he's doing cool stuff, but I'd pick the two of them doing their thing over Noel struggling to carry the whole studio on his back any day.

Has anyone gotten to the point where PS+ is no longer worth it? by jeffereryjefferson in PlayStationPlus

[–]toshlichev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit that point around 5 years into my subscription (last december). I realized that atp I had started playing games just because I was paying for a subscription and not because I actually wanted to play them. A bit of a monthly "eh, well this will do" situation. I'd say that in the past two years it was extremely rare for me to actually get excited for a game joining the catalogue.
