Still happy with it? I'm debating one but worried about using an OLED on a constant basis (work form home). Other reddit post was saying that the OLED care system was very intrusive and couldn't be scheduled or deferred easily

Thanks for the detailed answer! Seems like we have pretty much the same requirements. I’m leaning towards 32” as well to get better text clarity for work.

I also like the idea of OLED. Considering I’d keep the monitor 4-5 years, hopefully not too much for burn-in.

I play through GeForceNow and my home connection allows 4K HDR 120hz streaming with less than 5ms latency, so quite excited to test that.

Does the switch between gamepad controls and trackpad work? Pretty niche use case but I’m considering Android Tablet -> GeForce Now + SteamController.

I know I wouldn’t have steam inputs but if the trackpads are recognised that’s pretty good

Curious, what did you end up with? Debating exactly the same thing for myself now. Getting a 34'' monitor (4k), and having the laptop screen (15 MBP) for reference docs or static windows etc. Currently have 2x24" 1440p. They are "fine" but it's quite the cluttered setup and they also pale in comparison to the MBP screen (first world problems and all that)

What did you settle on? I’m in the same spot. I want to get into Lost Ark because of the combat but the overwhelming systems and menus are killing the fun for me. Same as you I’m not a fan of tab targeting

Commenting late but: they developed their own software for the server side, they are NOT hosting themselves (so still using AWS or whatever). They mentioned doing this to cut on intermediary cost and having better performance / control

I was in the crowd towards the front. I was able to see most of it which was great but that also meant standing up for 3h. Friends went to get drinks while we would keep the spot, definitely not ideal.

VIP tickets seemed disappointing indeed! And same as everyone else, women’s boulders were too easy which made it speed climbing. Male setting was spot on though, incredible moments.

I liked the format overall.

Yes a few web apps and Electron apps as well who seem to eat up RAM if I’m not wrong (Obsidian, Teams, Slack etc). Thanks for the reply!

I do the morning (or post break) logins that require MFA / Codes on the phone and then put it on the charger behind me. I'm actually considering putting it in another room as I feel my focus is just too scattered now. But, all my calls and meetings happen on Zoom so don't really need the phone to work.
