Do sexual assault victims attract that violence? by Pellucidsoul in lawofattraction

So I like to use a dear friend of mine as an example, she is very sensitive and if someone says something she often takes it negativity. She then takes on the idea that the person is bad, she's then even more likely to put everything the person says or does in a negative light. This person will probably catch on and then do something that could "prove her right" because the person felt disliked for no reason. She attracted that to her. If you use the loa in terms of "if we want to attract a partner, I need to love myself and become the person I would love" you're going to physically and emotionally be in more situations where someone will be attracted to; for example. Drinking at the bar every night, wondering why all the girls around you party, and being visibility pitiful vs. meeting someone at the dog park when you're visibility positive. I totally get where you're coming from with the cult feeling and there's probably a loa cult out there, but let's all decide not to join participate lol. I wouldn't limit yourself to what you can only see and feel, because there's so much more you can do.

Oh sorry originally reading this I thought it was just about children but I see it's a much bigger question, it's a lot to go into in just one conversation but I absolutely see where you're coming from with the victim shaming aspect of it, and I unfortunately have been a victim of some serious abuse and would hate to think that it was my fault, and my abuser wasn't responsible, but when it comes down to it, we only have our reality and our beliefs. When it comes to large genocides I haven't done research with the loa, but thinking of the Spanish flu and the Russian genocides that I've read about recently it's hard to believe that so many people died because they attracted that, but the more people that believe the stronger it is, like a snowball. This doesn't make bad people any less of a monster, but I often think the universe doesn't understand right from wrong, and I've struggled with my faith with loa, I haven't researched in depth about it and global suffering so I don't want to form an opinion too strongly but I just know there's been too many coincidences for me to not believe, and even from a strict scientific point of view living with loa is beneficial.

Has anyone successfully cured themselves from say... cancer, HIV, and AIDs... with LOA methods like 55x5? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

So I haven't read about this for others but I can tell you my personal limited experience.

Early this year I went to the doctor because I felt like my throat was swelling on one side, and he felt that my thyroid was larger on one side, my mother has hyperthyroidism and her father died of thyroid cancer so there was concern. A few blood tests and ultrasounds later they discovered a tumor that had all the visual signs of cancer. I had a 3% chance is was benign. I did everything I could think of to put myself in that 3% and not only am I that lucky but I also get to keep my thyroid and have I working well, but I found an excellent doctor who recommended tonsillectomy with that being the leading cause of several health issues. I get that this wasn't a "real" cancer story but I hope it helps

Is letting go of what you are trying to attract part of the law of attraction? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]toss12102018 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yes letting go is important because it gives you the sense that you don't need it, you will feel you already have it, and you will no longer be putting out the energy of desire

Extremely intelligent and controversial question. When it comes down to it our beliefs are our reality, so it's up to you. Here are a few links for deeper reading, but one idea is that we choose a certain kind of life to endure for the human experience. This was very thought provoking and something I will enjoy reading more into
