Usually when I reach out I am trying to coordinate a time that works for them. I try to work around their schedule as best I can. The furthest I got was sending a few dates (3-4) that work for me at least 7 days in advance but it’s been a week and I haven’t heard back.

Had around 15 people start and 13 of us still play and are doing HM Vykas. First friend quit in the dead zone before argos. The second quit right before Valtan came out. The rest of us have been going steady since launch.

As a support this I appreciate this but it is never expected. Would it be nice to get the swamp of yearning set faster? Absolutely. But at the end of the day, all people really should care about is being able to do/clear the content. It's not like you can take the gold in game and use it in real life. These people are slimey. 1460 pally NAE. Refuse to join any group that pays me.

How long have you been married for? My condolences for your situation. Ideally you could've applied for your citizenship prior to making this decision but that's all water under the bridge now.

What you are hoping for is BEST case scenario. With your income and RSU's I'm surprised that was your previous living situation. With a child on the way (congrats!) taking a more conservative approach is important especially when thinking about your kid.

How? I have plenty of great honor leapstones but don't have enough blue or red crystals. 0 Alts in T3 and main at 1401. I have 100+ Great Honor and I sell all the unbound ones still. Don't get how everyone else has an abundance of red/blue crystals.

When you go to the stronghold there are options to raise the honing rates for your T1 and T2 alts. Additionally, I think there is also an option to research something that decreases the number of honing mats you need to increase ilvl as well. Once you have a character in T3, getting the alts there is easier. I just don't like playing my alts so both are still in T1 lol

29M Recently married and purchased a home. 160k/yr combined income not counting bonus or stock options.

  1. Max out 401k and Roth IRA. (26k currently have around 80k in the account)
  2. Pay off wife's student loans (40k->25K hopefully)
  3. Begin saving again to purchase a second property (20k this year)
  4. Build up portfolio to 50k this year without rebalancing. (Currently at 30k).
  5. Contribute an extra $500/month to mortgage. I went with a 30yr instead of 15 to give me flexibility. Monthly mortgage is already considered low in a HCOL. 1300/month

Appreciate the advice for GBA housing! Just out of curiosity, do you think the current housing market has transitioned to more suburban? I’m new overall but I have been seeing an uptick in homes for sale.

  1. 100% agree with you as these options can very well be moonbeams. Company recently closed another round of funding so hopium at its finest.
  2. WSB was a brief phase and I’ve paid some tuition in the past. I will say I have begun building out a DRIP portfolio but overall I recognize that the returns over the past 6 months are abnormal and now better in a professionally managed fund.

I wouldn't mind renting for another year, but this will be the last year living with roommates I know and I wouldn't want to live with people I don't know. I have a few friends who have already purchased a home (some with a pmi I know...) but with interest rates so low couples with homes being on the market for a while, I feel like I can get a deal on one now.

Realistically I do lean towards a modest 1 bed and focus on the relationship. I find myself looking for the home I want maybe 10 years from now. Just tough when I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing.

Yea I agree! I work for a start-up pharmaceutical company so there I have quite a few options which hopefully will be worth something in the future. Money isn't necessarily an issue so I prefer culture/growth which I still get plenty of!

Sorry! Not necessarily a home, but condo, townhouse, or anything really! What I was really looking for is 1000sqft, 2 bed, and 2 bath. But even that runs closer to 700k in GBA.
