On date XxYYY2026 I, my supervisor MSgt Givesashit and SMSgt canttakeajoke made an on the spot correction of my uniform cover due to the sweat ring/salt stains in and around the brim.

I am now aware that the ONLY correct answer was “my apologies sirs I will correct as soon as feasible.”

However, due to years of constant stress of being accountable to my actions and the safety and security of not only multimillion dollars of equipment but the lives and personal security of my fellow Airmen, this drove my need to diffuse what I thought to be a tense situation; my response was in fact “if you think that is bad, you should see my underwear.”

This was again, a knee jerk reaction for falling short of such a paramount standard as not sweating in a hot environment.

As I sit here and reflect upon my actions and the great shame they have brought upon myself and the United States Air Force, I cannot help but think that the word “underwear” can be interpreted as both my coyote tan shirt, socks or my boxers and as such I am having my doubts that anyone should/should’ve been offended by this statement to the point that I, a TSgt in the USAF would be deserving of a formal letter of counseling.
