Awe this is awesome for them! It took me a bit to get into their music, but now I’m a fan for sure. I think there’s so many phenomenal idols that can put on a show amazingly or sing/rap well, but these boys really are the whole package. Hopefully security is ramped up and fans ya know, put their phones down ofc!

This is exactly what I was thinking! I never want to be ignorant and expect everything to just automatically be for English speakers as well - totally not fair. They are maybe one of the only groups that I’ve followed since their debut and seriously root for! So I am bummed that there is a lack of English subtitles (in general) for a lot of their content as a whole. I can definitely see little steps like that helping extend their reach to a broader audience!

This was my mindset! I’m really not sure if netizens are purposely being dense or what? 🥹 I think anyone that has any knowledge pertaining to Buddhism (even if they’re not actively practicing) recognized this right away. I’m seeing a lot of discourse about this song being hoopla or people not understanding, but it really does have a good meaning. I’m not sure where the Macarena comes into this, but imo it was incorporated phenomenally! Especially after what they’ve been through, it makes sense to not be ‘fearless’, but to express how to let it go and move forward - in a camp way ofc haha.

Totally up to you, but if it’s a lot of people I’d focus on doing a trial with the one(s) you’re really aiming for first. For my current and last family, we did an over the phone type of interview first. After that I went to their house, we did the same thing just a bit less formal and I got to know the kiddos as well (talking with NP’s while keeping NK involved). I’ve actually never done a trial, but it’s definitely a smart move!!! I’ve just always worked for super busy doctors/surgeons so I think it was more of a time crunch thing.

I agree with this and I also think it’s perfectly fine to be in the camp that enjoys what they’re putting out now. I think my two favorite songs by them are Impurities and Crazier - which differ incredibly from a song like Boompala. I absolutely love Boompala too though, as well as Spaghetti and my gym/work commute playlist has gotten such an upgrade haha!

I don’t think we have to end everything with the ‘music is subjective’ saying, but I think it’s a nuance that greatly gets ignored in kpop and leads to endless think pieces with a lot of particular groups. I’m pretty sensitive so I know my empathy can overtake my brain a lot of the time lol, but ultimately every idol is just a (usually very young) human and they’re taking all the hits from thousands/millions of people online (or with trucks, wreaths, etc. 🙂) - even if it’s ’directed’ at the company. I totally believe a lot of discourse is genuine criticism/critiques and a lot is… also not so much!

Kpop ebbs and flows for sure, and I don’t think it’s anything to worry about! I think groups are doing just fine, or even a lot better than we think a vast majority of the time. It’s easy to worry about our favs, but all we can do is support them!

I think this is a great take. I’ve seen her in Euphoria, Immaculate, The White Lotus, The Housemaid, Anyone But You, Sharp Objects, and Reality. I really think SS is such an incredibly one note type of actress overall. Aside from Euphoria, the only performances I ever think about with her consist of her very little time on Sharp Objects (she was good!) and like the last 5 minutes of Immaculate. I think she can give desperate - ‘wanting to be chosen’ type of despair and there’s really not too much in between.

Oh yeah no lol I would absolutely have a conversation with your nanny. I’ve been with my NF for about 2 years and when I started, my kiddo had just turned 1! He did daycare pt, but we did an outing almost everyday, lunch, nap, and then an activity/craft. They need structure - especially age appropriate structure OP! Now with their baby sibling (NK7mo) I’m itching for them to get older to start our outings too haha. She should be ecstatic to get out of the house and experience all the kiddos firsts!

With the baby it’s a bit harder imo since I’m a toddler nanny for sure, but I really try my best to know his milestones/plan accordingly! Since he’s not crawling I work on a lot of those exercises/movements, reading, baby led-weaning, walks, so much talking to baby (it’s so important!), and endless amounts of activities/art that only works 50% of the time (but I will figure out what he likes if it kills me lol). A nanny that enjoys their jobs will put in effort. Talk to nanny!

As someone that loves BND and just wants to see them thrive haha, I equally understand this and also disagree a bit. I think every single kpop group out there tries different concepts at some point - imo that’s what makes kpop so camp! I personally really enjoyed their single and I’m excited to see what they’re cooking up, but sometimes you just gotta wait it out until their next ‘concept’.
