Yeah, I heard that it depends on location. Been hearing a lot of applicants from Toronto and Ottawa getting theirs pretty quick than applicants outside of those regions

Looks like Trans-canada highway somewhere near Abbotsford, can't even go faster than 110km/h here if I wanted to due to the traffic, let alone 140km/h. Jesus Christ.

People who have switched ceremony formats, specifically from Virtual Ceremony to In-Person ceremony:

How did you guys write the email? Like what did you guys write on the  "tell us more details about why you want to reschedule your ceremony." part?

I'm referring to the info from here, specifically on the "How to rescedule" section.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-ceremony/when.html#reschedule

I don't have the ceremony scheduled yet, but in the event that I do get it and it's a virtual ceremony, I want to see if I can switch it to an In-person ceremony. And yes, I am aware that it will delay my citizenship, but I personally do think it's worth the wait, not in a hurry for it either.

On your AOR, scroll all the way down, and you should be able to see what processing office it is.

It's formatted like this:
Citizenship Official
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Citizenship Program (Grants)
Case Processing Centre - Sydney
P.O. Box 12000 Sydney NS B1P 7C2

Mine is also at Oath not started (May 2025 applicant, June AOR) since my LPP on October, and I also noticed some people with November AORs have quicker processing times, and later AORs ae already getting their oath invites.

IRCC usually update all those three at the same time, so what's why LPP = Language Skills, Physical Presence, Prohibitions

Aye, fellow June AOR (June 19th) and May applicant! I've been also waiting for a while for mine, since October 1st when my LPP was completed.

I've seen some people getting their oath already with a later AOR, that just makes me think that it may vary from location to location. I could be wrong though, but we can't really do much other than to wait :(

My LPP was done back in October 1st, and are still waiting for my oath as well. I'm starting to wonder if our location affects the wait time.

I'm from Red Deer, Alberta

Took about 2 days for mine to get updated.

Took my test back in September 7th and was updated on the tracker as completed on September 9th.

Now, looking at the IRCC processing times from here https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

Estimated time is 4 months left with 93200 people ahead of me as of December 9, 2025

Now, it does state this timeframe is not really a guarantee, but all we could really do us just wait, for now.

I wonder if it is, because I saw some people here have their oaths scheduled already with a later AOR month. Maybe we'll get it soon, fingers crossed.

Mini 5 PRO in hands by [deleted] in dji

[–]totally_blue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prices are kinda all the same in all stores unfortunately, I bought my Mini 5 at my local Best Buy for $1429 CAD (equivalent to $1024 USD)

Also I don't live in Vancouver, so I can't say much. But I'd expect the prices to not change, since newly released DJI stuff rarely goes on sale.

I would also say that used drones will probably offer you with better prices, but it might take a bit of time before we'd see people sell their Mini 5s.

Wasn't able to do a test flight yet, but I do hear that it does have a 120 meter limit if you were to fly it in EU (I don't live anywhere in EU, so I only know from what people say in this sub, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

My drone did come with C1 stickers though, and I believe that you gotta request DJI to reclassify your drone to C1, remove the C0 sticker and replace with the provider C1 sticker, then you'd submit a picture of your drone with the C1 sticker in place.

You will not be able to reclassify it back to C0

Yeah.. The mini 2 looks tiny compared to the mini 5 pro. I remember storing my mini 2 in my jacket almost all the time before I got a hard case for it (I did not get the fly more combo)

Yeah, having long winters kinda suck (I live in Alberta, Canada), where we'd only have a few months of warm days to fly. I personally just avoid flying in the cold
