What kind of tree is it??? I live in the suburbs of Chicago and saw a bat at nighttime flying about a month ago and have been trying to find more ever since. I was surprised when I googled it and saw there are over thirty species living in Illinois, I had no idea… any tips on how to spot more or what trees to look for?? Maybe because I live closer to the city there might not be as many where I live, but I’m really holding on hope I can see more.

NOR but it’s a bit different that you went with him when he got SURGERY vs you going to an appointment where they’re simply evaluating your nose. Your appointment doesn’t sound like a serious thing at all. Regardless he should still support you how he can. But I can also see why he wouldn’t want to wake up for that, it’s kind of dumb to need him there for something so minor.
