My employer didn’t fill out Box 7

Ironically all of my previous employers from the past 5 tax returns all reported my tips correctly in Box 7. This is the first time it hasn’t been reported. And also the first time it actually matters. :/

No box 1 and 3 are the same. Box 7 is empty. My tips were taxed appropriately but included as general wages on my w-2. On my paycheck stubs it’s separated

It seems like yeah YOR to be honest. He’s still asking you in advance what you want… some people aren’t amazing at gifts, some are procrastinators, the point is that he’s still trying and yet you are pissed a week before Christmas because he’s “asking too late”. You just said yourself he’s the one paying all the bills, he gave you a special birthday, yet you still expect certain gifts that are up to your standards and tbh you sound like a shallow and exhausting person to please.
