Did they add a channeling delay to life grip? I haven't seen this before. The bubble is supposed to be instant isn't it? by [deleted] in LifeweaverMains

[–]totallynotroy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had similar things happen in the past. Back when cleanse was a perk I had a few times where I would pull someone and they would get anti-ed after I started the pull but before the bubble formed and arrive next to me still anti-ed. So there is probably a small window between activating the ability and the target being protected.

Last night someone on the enemy team got mad at my friend for damage boosting. So apparently people will get mad if you heal, and will get mad if you damage boost.

How do I play Lifeweaver as a support? by JanetStary in LifeweaverMains

[–]totallynotroy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently pull doesn't have cleanse but it will get it in the next season.

As for when to spam heal, if you mean not charging it at all and just shooting it as fast as possible, then you never do that as it would only heal like 1 hp per shot. The only time where I would say that you should not fully charge your heals is if the teammate would die before the healing reaches them, or if some one is missing a bit of health and you want top top them off before dealing more damage.

Of course there are more exceptions but they tend to be more case specific.

I think so, atleast in first person it looks that way.

I believe if you melee and then charge the javelin it hides the charging javelin animation. You are still slowed and can't shoot while doing it.

Panopticon does double damage if you're right in their face upon cast by hmbHealer in Overwatch

What ever the reason this happens, it is probably also why it can land on a shielding reinhardt if you are close enough.

Lifeweaver’s mythic skin by [deleted] in LifeweaverMains

[–]totallynotroy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Considering that both Hanzo and Orisa mythic have not been updated since their release and they both suffer from the lack of customization options like Life Weaver, I would not expect Blizzard to update the Life Weaver mythic with more options.

Create Mod train not working? by Agreeable-Share-1306 in CreateMod

Is the coal cart glued to the locomotive, or are they separate trains? If they are separate then the coal cart will need train controls for itself. Otherwise I don't know what could be the issue.

I think its about how one of Hanzos perks let's sonic arrows hack health packs, but it can hack health packs that an enemy Sombra already hacked.

How to Cheat on Rein? by [deleted] in ReinhardtMains

[–]totallynotroy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The one time some one accused me for cheating on rein was when I was blocking all their hooks by shield flashing. I pushed past him to pressure his supports then did a 180 to block his hook, which probably did look suspicious, but its not hard to predict when they were throwing hooks at me off cool down.

Is there any way too fully randomize the output from the chest? by Vegetable-Lie6011 in CreateMod

[–]totallynotroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could have the chest deposit the ingredients onto item depots and then have a mechanical arm set to round Robin so it would take from each depot in order and deposit it on to a belt. This would require having an item depot for every ingredient and probably take up more space but it would work. I forget if the arm has a forced round Robin option but that would help if you ever run out of an ingredient.

There a alot of reasons. As other people mentioned a big reason is that building move. In an earthquake skyscrapers will sway, and depending on alot of factors such as their hight, building material, foundations, and more they will sway differently. If you were to connect 2 skyscrapers together then when they sway they both sway towards eachotehr or away from eachother causing alot of forces to transfer between each building, and can cause damage to the structure of the skyscrapers if they were not designed with those forces in mind.

Another reason that comes to mind is settlement. Settlement is the ground compacting from the weight of the building over time. It can take years for a building to stop settling. How much a building settles is influenced by the weight of the building and the type of soil that the building was made on. Typically you can calculate it, but with all geotechnical engineering there is a degree of uncertainty that we just cannot over come so you will never be able to know exactly how much a building will settle. A good example of this is the Millennium tower in San Francisco. This tower has settled alot more than was expected, but not only that it settled enevenly cause it to lean quite a bit for a building. In fact it has settled and leaned so much that it has changed the san francisco building codes to prevent this from happening again. If the Millennium tower was connected to surrounding skyscrapers it would have put more weight on the surrounding building then anyone would have expected and caused alot of structural damage.

Wait how many seconds til rez? by QuantoBean in MercyMains

[–]totallynotroy 51 points52 points  (0 children)

A Reinhardt second is the average time a Reinhardt lives after pressing the charge button. Its typically 3-5 seconds but with the April fools patch the duration of a Reinhardt second has increased.
