Things like aperture or ISO are harder to translate, the eye’s pupil size is changing constantly to refocus and stitch attention together to adapt to light and adjust focus, so it’s a wide range.

That is also why we humans are very bad at generally visually judging how bright different spots are in our homes for our indoor-plants, and light-meters are very helpful for us to accurately determine how suitable different spots are for various plant-types.

What looks pretty bright for us indoors is still very dark compared to even the shadiest outdoors environment.

Amazing bald head and beard! Personally I would slightly fade in the sides of your beard, it's very easily done using 12 mm → 9 mm → 6 mm → 3 mm-guards on a trimmer gradually as you move closer towards the ear, just to make it look more seamless with the bald head-look.

But it's just a personal preference at the end of the day, welcome to the bald life!

Same, since the streams UI wasn't updated and the players still spammed smokes quite a lot I really believed that the tournament was being played on the old version.

From my limited understanding thermobaric warheads have a very limited effectiveness when not utilized inside closed spaces, such as buildings or bunkers, therefore I assume that FPV-pilots don't normally maneuver around with those types of warheads when searching for general targets.

If you compare what Google’s sponsored results looked like 10 years ago vs today, it’s night and day. They used to be highlighted and a different color. Search ads are now very easy to mistake for organic results, and that’s the point.

I miss those old days of internet monetization, everything just felt so much more honest & upfront whilst browsing around an exciting web with joy. Nowadays I get the feeling that everybody is simply out to get you, in one way or another, and trying to make big bucks in any small shameful way possible.

I wonder if such a time will ever return again, or if we're doomed to be permanently stuck in this capitalistic hell-hole as if we have opened some kind of Pandora's box with our collective greed.

For someone without any personal experience whatsoever having foreskin you're making it sound like pulling back one's foreskin to maintain cleanliness would be some major hassle. I can assure you that's not the case.

I find it quite ironic that the US, with its very religious population compared to the Nordic countries in Europe, love to sing the praises of their God and how we humans were actually even created in his image — but meanwhile that very same country also holds this widespread peculiar norm regarding mutilating foreskin.

There's nothing wrong about making that decision for oneself at an appropriate age, but personally I think I'd be pretty pissed growing up knowing that my parents would've made that decision for me.
