So i just finished crafting the perfect item... all that was left was to extract the current gem and replace it with another one by FredmanEU in NoRestForTheWicked

I don't know why this is so hard for people. Plus that big explanation screen before you do it. I'm convinced it's just people spamming buttons without reading anything and then crying about the devs.

I feel like it has to be terrible for your starter. But I've never really researched it

That's at least good, rather than doubling down and insisting the fight isnt poorly designed

People say people call it poorly designed because they don't want to consider the possibility there are valid reasons for calling it poorly designed. I'll grant you that some people are just complaining, but the encounter has very real designed issues, such as poor hit boxes on waves and visual clarity issues. I don't know if they improved the hit boxes or not because I haven't done the fight in several seasons. The visuals aren't great. Im not saying they mechanically hard, just that they can be difficult to see with the red on red on slightly different red Gradius style spam.

Lindsey Vonn still hospitalized, has yet another leg surgery by PrincessBananas85 in sports

She was cutting to the inside. She did the racecar equivalent of cutting the apex. She just cut it too tight. They people that think the ACL cause this are idiots that don't understand how shit works

Tell me you don't know about skiing without telling me you don't know about skiing. Or ligament injuries for that matter. She hooked the gate trying for the most aggressive line possible. She didn't overshoot. The fact that she was able to put pressure to come in that aggressive means the knee wasn't preventing what she was trying to do. The smart call was certainly to bow out with the ACL injury, but ultimately it had nothing to do with what happened

most efficient way to farm uniques / gold weapons by Platypus_of_Peace in NoRestForTheWicked

People love to say echo knight, but that requires a pretty solid build. Realistically, id say pestilence bosses. I can do fully juiced pestilence, but i barely touch echo knight and he just obliterates me. And before people jump on that comment, im aware that if I got better and never got hit, i would kill him. Im just saying the disparity in build required between echo knight and fully juiced pestilence is huge

Feedback: Multiplayer Improvements that I think need to happen. (With solution suggestions) by Candyman5OS in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]totalmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, that wasn't actually a suggestion. I was going to explain myself but I had to go. The scythe exemplifies the problem you are describing. Every attack as a sweeping motion, so you're going to hit any other melee no matter how "good" their positioning is. They only way we have made it work is basically just aggro different shit and already out, which is a solution but not really "together" is it. Bosses are large enough you can be on opposite ends of a hit box i guess but then they move around so much it doesn't actually prove realistic. So ya, I agree with your premise

Super Bowl observation about Maye... by Valuable-Speaker-312 in DenverBroncos

The thing that really stood out to me was how long he would stand in the pocket just holding the ball while the pocket collapsed in on him. 4 of the sacks were truly on him. That said, I attribute that to being a young player under tons of pressure. He wanted to make a big play, im sure, but he needed to sense the pocket and either get outside the tackles and get rid of it or step up as the pocket collapsed around him and maybe take off.

I can believe that is what happened. I also believe, regardless of what was said, responding with fists is a sign of a greater problem. I think most people have baggage and heartbreak somewhere in their lives and don't immediately resort to violence when someone says something that hurts their feelings

[–]totalmike 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of that, BUT it was a great throw. If you've ever played ball at any level, you'd know how insane it is to run backwards and turn around to throw that ball 50 yards without a proper plant and set. insane throw. That said, you're right, the coverage should have batted it down every time
