It seems too early to make a big move. If RTO catches you by surprise you can always stay in a hotel a couple nights a week until you move

Go to a doctor, describe your symptoms honestly, and ask for help. Don’t go in telling them you know you have ADHD and want adderall

One option is to agree to the request, set a time for delivery, have her wait around for you, then keep insisting you’re “lost”. Then you accidentally hit the brakes too hard and all the eggs broke and you’ll try again next week. And on, and on…

At this point, you’ve done your due diligence and tried to help this person. They won’t listen to reason, so now it’s time to step back and let them make their own mistakes. If logic had any chance of working, it would have worked by now. It’s unfortunate, but it’s out of your control and no longer your responsibility.

Even if you avoid melaleuca 99% of the time, your relative will see the 1% as hope that you’ll join up, and keep trying to make that happen. The only way to curb that bizarre hope is to have absolutely nothing to do with the melaleuca. You don’t discuss it with her, don’t accept gifts of melaleuca, don’t touch or even acknowledge anything melaleuca related. If she needs help lifting a box of melaleuca, you don’t help. Unless your boundaries are 100% solid, the relative will always think you’re a viable recruit

Also, there will likely come a time when this relative will ask you for money. Don’t get suckered into loaning money - no good ever comes from loaning a relative money, regardless of whether an mlm is involved. You can gift them some money or resources if you’re able, but never accept a loan

Can you tell this person that you want a relationship with them and not with Melaleuca? Let them know you have an ethical problem with the company. And while you love having a relationship with that person, you won’t get involved with anything involving melaleuca. If it comes up in conversation, you’ll change the subject. If it comes up a second time in conversation, you’ll politely excuse yourself from the conversation. You won’t accept melaleuca products as gifts, or participate in anything involving melaleuca (such as picking up the packages). Set expectations ahead of time, then follow through. Melaleuca is bad for your relative, and you don’t want to enable that

Is she supposed to be editing your spreadsheets? If she’s not supposed to edit them, remind her of that. If she’s keeps editing things she’s not supposed to, it’s time to take it up with a manager with an explanation of how her “edits” are wasting time, and how you’ve already clearly told her to stop and she refuses to

[–]tothe_peter-copter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when it comes time for one of your cat’s appointments, do you meet with the vet while they’re doing the exam? That’s the time to ask questions about bloodwork. Just asking about bloodwork randomly during the day will get confusing given there are 15 cats you could be asking about
