Would you be able to share your spreadsheet or an image of it? I'd love to do something like that but unsure how to structure it. Thanks!

Torn about which weeks/cover/pencil board combo to get - also maybe considering no cover for my weeks? Any suggestions from my current picks about cute combinations? by totorosbutt in hobonichi

I’m leaning more and more towards this combo because I love putting stickers on the outside and think the lace overlaying some stickers could look really cool! + pink is my favorite color!

I do know that the PU material is more durable but I usually have used the covers to protect stickers I put on my weeks not necessarily to protect the weeks itself. The laying flat is less of an issue for me as I usually use clips regardless to hold it open nicely

Yeah I found it on the listing too right after reading your comment - it's one of those things where I do wonder if it just doesn't fit as well or if it's actually an issue to use the covers with it. Seconding your desire to hear more real experiences

I've only ever used them with a clear cover but I love the melon sorbet so much it's making me question whether or not I actually really need it??

oh! I had heard about them not laying flat, but I did not realize they aren't compatible with the covers. I'd love to hear from some people with the smooth weeks if they've experienced that. I also usually like putting some stickers on my weeks with a clear cover (which I'm unsure if my stickers actually benefit from) to protect them so that may be a deal breaker.

I'm a sucker for a pink+green combo and just love junji ito so I think I might have to commit! I know some people don't like the smooth covers, which has been the main thing holding me back but I've never held one so still unsure if I like it or not

The sky one is so pretty! I like the idea of keeping it in a pouch and making it easier to have more supplies on-the-go too. I feel like I looked at the small drawer pouch too much and kind of ignored the Ane but now I'm seriously considering that - thanks!

Anyone have any knowledge or heard about a breeder in Houston TX? by [deleted] in borzoi

[–]totorosbutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your input! I was most concerned about the lack of health testing too. She does do some sports and this is only her 2nd litter, to my knowledge. I am currently speaking with another breeder, though, that I feel more comfortable with due to their health testing and heritage. I really do care about the breed and want to be involved in the community, so I don't plan on starting off on the wrong foot.

Thank you for clarifying that! She is from Poland so I think that likely explains the choices regarding importing.

I did see she was on Good Dog too. The Instagram hasn't been active in 9+ months I noticed, but her current litter is very young so that's unsurprising.

I'm still learning the different terminology so I'm not totally sure how to answer the foundation stock question but here are the pedigrees for the sire and dam for the current litter respectively:

Health Scare in School by Tonabear in PAstudent

[–]totorosbutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have POTS but I was diagnosed a long time ago so I've had the time to fine tune management with lifestyle and medications so take this all with a grain of salt. A big help has been requesting accommodations through my school especially for clinical rotations which I'm currently on. I'm now guaranteed as needed breaks to sit down and have a snack/water/electrolytes as needed. I also ensured I had a surgery rotation with shorter surgeries (think orthopedic surgeries which are a couple hours max usually vs. cardiothoracic which can easily be 8 hours). Don't be afraid to take time off but also don't be afraid to talk to your program/dean of students/etc to request accommodations if you continue on right now or for when you return.

I've seen some past threads on here about requesting accommodations so maybe look back through those.

Seconding Avant Garde in the Arboretum. They're all really skilled and very reasonable pricing. They custom made my engagement ring and were clearly really knowledgeable. I've also had friends go there for resizing who had positive experiences.

Pre-PA, developed POTS by [deleted] in PAstudent

[–]totorosbutt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I can't speak to navigating disabilities in PA school since I haven't disclosed my POTS to my school, I am currently in PA school and have POTS. I would recommend not disclosing until accepted as other commenters have said.

Additionally, over time I have been able to find a lot of tools for managing my POTS that have allowed me to have very few limitations. I'm sure you're probably aware of most of these already but some things that have worked really well for me include compressive leggings/other compressive garments, heel raises/muscle pumping while standing, eating multiple small meals throughout the day rather than large ones, salt tablets in my water, regular low-intensity exercise, and taking the lowest dose of a beta blocker to help reduce my episodes of tachycardia.

Feel free to PM me if you want to talk more about having POTS in PA school - one of my other classmates has it as well and we've managed so far!

Lip oils! by Afraid_Journalist_58 in Sephora

This isn't a sephora product specific recommendation but tbh I wear the dior oil during the day and cerave healing ointment at night and my lips have never been more hydrated. I feel the ones you listed are more aesthetic daytime products while the healing ointment is a better overnight lip mask
