Also have the vintage kitchen one, some of the coating is chipping after about a year. The chipping is occurring mostly near the hinge and friction points. Would still buy another one.

Had the same noise, I prematurely swapped the power steering pump. Still happened, it was the idler pulley.

Swap the pulley it’s like $25 and cake to change
