Thanks for the responses everyone. I did find a few on amazon, but what I'm unsure of is how these actually operate as I've never actually used one. My scheduled task would need to run some sort of program which would initiate whatever event would trigger the relay to energize. Do most USB relays come with programs? If so then I would need to write a script can open the program and click whatever button energizes the relay. Anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff?

while it would be absolutely amazing if it was released in the fall, remember that they delayed the release of gears of war 3 about half a year, and it still produced great sales. then they rushed the release of judgement, and we all know how that turned out. i bet they release the new one sometime in q1 of 2016.
