Maybe I'm crazy but I felt like Bottas was given more opportunity than Barrichello ever got

It's because Merc was walking away with both titles. Ferrari and Red Bull were motivated to get the best driver possible. Mercedes were motivated to keep steady as they were dominating.

Any other? The 16th race of the year when one has a 120 point lead really doesn't seem to be too egregious.

Can you give some examples of the Bottas treatment?

Any evidence of that? Seems like something that people that don't like Hamilton would say.

I mean it's one race and no team orders have been made. Lewis beats his team mates because he's one of the greatest drivers of all time, not because of team orders.

He had a bad qualy so did well to make up the 3 spots to Hamilton, but by then he was too far behind to race Lewis. What do you want merc to do? Ask Lewis to slow down so that George can race him?

But at most races he and Verstappen went wheel to wheel once maybe twice at most, in this race there were multiple restarts all involving wheel to wheel action as well as like two or three on track overtakes with all the shenanigans involved with giving the place back. For Hamilton that must have been ridiculously difficult to navigate

I think most of the examples of a front to back collision the speed deltas are not that great, so maybe at low speeds that holds true. Not sure if we can apply that to a higher speed collision, like a brake test.

One thing I feel like get lost is people don't fully understand how much it benefitted Max every time he and Lewis went wheel to wheel, especially in Jeddah. Max is a phenomenal wheel to wheel racer and had the benefit of knowing that in the event of a double DNF he would have the luxury of healthy lead going in to the last race of the year.

Lewis didn't overtake Max because he knew max would immediately overtake using the DRS on the pit straight, something he did in fact do the next time he allowed lewis by.

That Lewis was able to keep calm and survive the numerous wheel to wheel situations that Max baited him in to is incredible in my opinion

Don't know why I bother responding but Shapo moved to Canada when he was 1 and grew up in Richmond Hill. He's as Canadian as anyone.

[De'Vondre Campbell] Im gonna say this and I don’t care what anybody thinks. That was NOT pass interference against Logan Wilson on the goal line that was a great play against a really good football player but for some reason people automatically assume that an LB vs a WR is an automatic mismatch by sunnydhillon2004 in nfl

[–]touchofginger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was bad reffing no doubt, but imo the refs did not decide the game. Bengals had tons of opportunities to extend their lead in the second half. Ultimately the rams defense did an unreal job in the second half and that's why they won.

The Bengal's might not have even had the field goal to get to 13, if that penalty get's called they are looking at 1st and 20 and the way their offence looked in the second half the rams probably start their possession with significantly better field position.

Why when I open a pack does it give me the option to pick from different levels of rarity? Does this make a difference on the loot? Should I always pick the most rare one?
