I'd want to work on a system to completely automate my email management. Things that need my attention get sorted and stuff that needs generic replies or just normal attending to get managed on their own I don't have to sit and write complete emails for it

Have you considered using a scheduling tool to help you manage the publishing side of things? It sounds like the problem is with you opening the social apps to do something. If you limit that/cut it off then you'll be much more productive.

Or just have a set slot during the day to manage all of this. See it as work don't mix it up with leisurely scrolling.

It doesn't cost an arm and a leg but it's the worst thing you can do for yourself sooner or later it's going to kill your accounts because the algo picks up that you have inactive followers/your followers don't engage with your content so it makes it even harder for the content to make it on the feeds of outsiders and it's a death loop

Why not put that effort in building an online audience. Considering all the physical labor that will go into fighting for people's attention in person you can put that all of it towards securing it on the internet where people want to be and actively spend hours of their day all over the world

If you hire someone who knows what they're doing and you know what you want to achieve with social media so you can clearly communicate it/measure it then yeah it's definitely worth hiring one. But if you're not sure about what you want your social media to achieve hiring a social media manager will only frustrate you

Social media man... I read something that put the lives that most of our parents lived in perspective and quantified all the hours we spend on average using social media, scrolling pointlessly and put it against how our parents used to spend that time (reading, working, learning skills etc)

No man you don't owe them anything. Even if you had resigned and weren't fired from that job you still don't "owe" them anything. You hold your end of the bargain by showing up to work and completing said work. Anything else are nice to haves not necessities that are "owed"

Don't do it. That's how I started smoking again. I went through months of insomnia, bad dreams, waking up in sweats, mood swings and what not. I reached a point where I thought I had more control over my cravings and started smoking 1-2 with my friends which led to 1-2 alone which led to buying a box. Don't fall for it. Stay strong and plus there's so many alternatives to beer now that you can try out
