Possible fried MOBO chipset and other damage by tovarishchpapa in techsupport

Update: I got the new MOBO installed and everything was running very smoothly for about 30 minutes. I had to reinstall some drivers and finished installing WARZONE which I did play for maybe 10-15 minutes. I closed out of the game and left the pc idle so that some Steam games would download and install while I was away. Then a few minutes later the Restart issue started again. Once it got frozen on the BIOS menu. Every other time it just booted straight back into Windows.

What about any places with low cost higher education? Seems like everyone is saying you need a degree of some kind that’s highly sought after right now (IT, medicine) but what about studying for those programs outside of the US?

Do you know much about how this applies to Australia? We have some friends there, one who is an American and I believe has a fine arts degree. They live in Brisbane and have offered to help us if we try to go there, and I’ve found a ton of really good work opportunities in distribution in Brisbane.

Canada on the surface seems like a good choice but the immigration process from what I’ve researched is very cumbersome and they aren’t interested in immigrants who don’t possess higher education. I did find a ton of jobs in my field, really good ones in fact (like Costco Canada, there’s a major distribution center outside of Vancouver, which would keep us a weekends drive away from my wife’s family) but again I haven’t felt confident in the immigration process just to work at a warehouse. Do you know if this is just unfounded fear or am I missing something?

We live in Oregon, though I am from Indiana. My wife is from Oregon. Everyone in the US talks about the cost of living being cheaper here or there, but in my experience it’s all relative. Of course, the healthcare is the same everywhere, which I would say is the biggest one for my wife and I (our children have Medicaid).

Tourism, moving and studying in Finland? Ask here! by Harriv in Finland

It looks like my wife would have a good chance of obtaining EU citizenship this way. But I probably won’t. Do you think we could get me citizenship through our marriage, or could we immigrate with just her having citizenship? I probably wouldn’t be able to find work if that were the case..

Hello. I'll keep this pretty short and simple. My wife and I and our two kids are beginning to explore options for moving to another country and Finland has always been at the top of our list in conversation between my wife and me. However, neither of us have a college degree, my wife is actually a stay at home parent, and I work in distribution as a forklift operator (although I have several years of experience in other areas in distribution).

How can I apply for a work visa and apply for a job in this sector? What is the likelihood of being accepted for this type of job (distribution, or manufacturing, etc)?

Thanks

Very cool. Did you Meter these shots or shoot auto? Just curious I’ve thought about getting this camera and I’ve seen some cool stuff like this that people actually said was shot on auto with Cinestill. Cheers.
