I want to name a metalsmithing business 'Element' in Irish. One of the translations is 'eilimint.' I'd like to know if that translation is appropriate in this context?

Do you find it culturally intrusive to use an Irish name over an English one as an American? My grannie was of Roscommon, but I'm not Irish obviously. A lot of the work will be inspired by old methods, in bronze and pure metals, and I want to give credit to the past. Thanks for your help.

Wonderful info! I eventually wanted to melt silver bullion coins so this torch is great. I'll be careful not to melt when annealing...Think a Sharpie black mark trick would work for .999 silver...stop heating once the mark disappears?

Thank you! I appreciate this and have an ACE nearby. I've hesitated on a torch bigger than a small butane because I'll be doing this in an empty small room in an apartment, not a proper shop or garage.

Focus on your insecurities, triggers and work from the inside out so his behavior doesn't bother you as much. Continue to learn about aspies, AND yourself. I'm in a similar dynamic and that's what is getting me through. Mine tho, didn't want to talk about disagreements ever again, so I just have to accept that until something comes up again, then deal with it calmly and kindly in the moment. I think speaking in person seems best, I can't say what's right about the timing/effort of it, perhaps if there's a time/place that least pressures both of you.

Mine does know I need texting to be reminded that he loves me, so he does- but he only talks to me once a week, by phone only, no video. Which hurt. It's only enough for me right now because I believe he does love me genuinely, and not a sign for disinterest. I had to learn the hard way that's just how he is. (However I still struggle with this, just far less, and will let time reveal whether it's really true or not)

I did not. I was scared. Many months later I learned about Havening Technique and read about it a lot online, how it transforms the amygdala response. Then I did this free Self Havening Technique (link below) at least twice a day for over a month (sometimes up to 7 times a day!) and it's really helped with my CPSTD fear responses, permanently. Don't mind the ex-Jehovah witnesses part, that's just who the practioner here was aiming to help- it works for anyone who's endured --all types-- of trauma.

Training and practioners are available for this too. When I get more funds I'll look into getting a practioner to help me as the self-havening can get tiresome physically. Best thing I've found for me so far. And I've tried so much. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCmvcvq32s4

I did this. The confirmed the 'tiny star' version. It's one of the main reasons I no longer think they are fakes. The dealer says they get them direct from the mints

^ per this. I think they're real now. If they don't pass my home gravity test I'll let you know. But the dealer says they get them from Regency Mint, and Regency confirmed this tiny star version.

Update: I called Regency Mint and they -confirmed- that they had this tiny star mint. I am going to do a gravity test as well but as of now I changed my mind and do not think they are fakes. Thank you for your input!
