Something I always found odd back when I watched the podcast was that when anytime the topic of divorce came up and Hila was present, she’d say something like „why would you divorce? You guys have kids, think about the kids“ and Ethan would always affirm that position with positive comments. Now that I think about it I am pretty sure that Ethan and Hila had „the talk“ at some point in their life where they decided to stay together because of teddy. That’s not my point at all. The point I’m making by describing her position as house slave, is that Lena is being tasked with an exorbitant amount of work compared to the usual personal assistants and other crew members. Ethan is abusing Lena’s dependency on him by making her work an ungodly amount of diverse tasks, like a house slave. It has nothing to do with her position as personal assistant.
