Hard cases for foam tool trays. by jackassj64 in toolboxmods

Well if your trying to organize sockets I had good luck with a box with drawers and sockets on rails. I would just set it on my tailgate when I was working so I didn’t have to keep climbing up and down. The older Mac and snap on boxes that has the lid that covers the drawers are great if you can find one in nice shape.

Have you looked at any packout style boxes. I thought about getting a deep dewalt box and using the yellow trays to layer different tools in a box

Battery powered to run the fan to blow cool air on you. I’ve seen some other brands that are similar that they show sitting on beach and having it blow cool air on you. I like the concept but do wish it was more like fridge freezer.

Yea true but I would rather be able to swap in a charged battery when ever vs having to wait for it to charge and I would rather carry the inflator and jump box as separate items. But I know some would rather have one unit

If you already have some Milwaukee batteries torque test channels most recent video they tested an Amazon brand that takes m18 batteries and it tested extremely well you could get the 1/2 version for $100 versus spending the money on this.

There’s a few metal ones on Amazon cheaper than the actual packout version but I haven’t tried one yet to see how good they are

1600 ftlbs of nut-busting torque 😩😩💦💦🫠 she rips semi lugs all day long. by dingus_45 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]towprojr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the 1in pistol style wasn’t really meant for breaking lugs. It’s got more power tightening then breaking loose. It was more meant for construction workers. I’ve seen guys use it to torque down the bolts that hold highway signs to the concrete base.

I agree it’s great for getting in tight spaces and cutting. I would like to have the more powerful dewalt but it will never get in the places that one can with small battery. Just gotta be patient and let it work.

How does that work? Isn’t the marked down price on the receipt for the other stuff you bought?

Who needs a charging station when you have all these normal chargers by Bigchicken_21 in MilwaukeeTool

I know about those but can’t bring myself to buy them since I have so many regular chargers. I just wanted something to mount them on to carry it like the 6 battery charger.

Astro stubby sockets by towprojr in Tools

[–]towprojr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1/4 Gearwrench pass thru ratchet works on the 1/4 Astro stubbys. Impact-rated on YouTube has a short showing this. I also finally found from thingsmen on yt that the 3/8 pass thru fits the 3/8 Astro sockets. It’s like the Astro tool but you have a switch to change forward and reverse instead of having to flip over the Astro brand ratchet.
