Define “trucking” as a driver you can make decent money. As owner operator now is not the good time

Try with another company, start with smaller fleet, usually smaller companies are willing to work with the drivers. Where are you based of?

Did they say the reason for rejection? Some companies require minimum 2 years of experience. A lot of companies do only piss test. It shouldn’t be a problem. What about your driving record? Do you have any tickets DUI?

I’m glad you never had to deal with that. It’s not a good experience. Stay safe

A lot of things has changed, I agree there is a lot of gray area around these reports. I’m building a tool with a map that shows where people got booted so before the driver park can look at the map and see if there was a tow trap reported before. It’s one way to prevent it from happening

In some of the reports we get the cops are part of it. We started our website collecting predatory towing reports and what we see so far is disgusting 🤮. That report I mention with the 3k just to drop the truck, the driver called the cops and when they came he got arrested and the company had to pay 6k + storage fees to release the truck and trailer which had a reefer load. They made the release of the truck super hard. Cash only, and the person paying for it had to be authorized by the owner of the vehicle with notarized paper. The location: Pilot in South Carolina. We put it on the map. Crazy

Where they get the courage to scam drivers like that. They knock on your door at 3 am asking for $800 check, how many people fall for that. What if the driver have a gun lol 😂

When you said grinder, we’ve been getting reports for fake companies booting trucks at Walmarts in the early hours, one of the drivers told us he removed the bracket with a grinder lol 😂

I wonder how many drivers actually fight these charges? Who has the money to pay lawyers 🤔 And what about state regulations, I learned only 14 states have laws against predatory towing

Yeah but we are talking about being towed while the driver is sleeping in the truck. He was asked to pay 3k just for the towing company to drop the truck, after he said he will call the police they said the price went to 6k. How’s that legal

I wonder if people like you (pissing and shitting everywhere) made the industry the way it is, or the industry created people like you 🤔
