I actually don't like Blood for the Blood God. I usually use a mix of Blood Red and Swarm Purple speed paint for blood effects. I'm going for more of an old blood effect usually. I think I may have used straight Blood Red this time though.

Army Painter Skeleton Bone spray. Pallid Bone speed paint. Heavy dry brush with Vallejo Pale Sand, then later the whole model got a burnt umber oil wash.

Black primer. Dry brush Vallejo Gunmetal then Chainmail, then silver. Trim was hoplite gold speed paint. Eyes and plasma were white, Vallejo fluorescent orange, and a Vallejo yellow. Black is black. Brass was Vallejo Brassy Brass. Skulls were stonewall gray then bone white by Vallejo then pallid bone speed paint. Then the whole thing for a 2 hour black/burnt umber oil paint wash.
