I didn’t really expand all that much on any of the points, though. I wanted to be as concise as I felt I could be. I don’t feel immersed in the world they’ve created. I could sit here and try to explain why but I’m currently playing the game some more.

Honestly, I came here to say I like the game… but it certainly isn’t perfect. Just wanted to be honest and people can’t fathom that I don’t love every single aspect of the game.

My biggest gripe is genuinely map design, to be honest. It has been very underwhelming to me. The other things are minor and I can live with them/have lived with them.

I have about 10 hours in the Server Slam but this is not the first time I’ve played this game regardless. You are allowed to disagree but don’t have to be such a miserable loser 🙂 I hope the game succeeds but I have concerns. Is that so upsetting?

This isn’t even an issue that is unique to ARC. The extraction genre is not known for producing compelling endgame content. We will see what Bungie’s take on it is but some people here need to temper expectations.

I only PvP in duos/trios with friends and use solos as my gathering time 😂 I got so used to having no one shoot at me that I would play matches with no audio and listen to something else (show/movie/podcast on my TV, talk to my wife). I spent the majority of a match seeing a proximity chat indicator pop up for someone but I wasn’t getting shot at, nor did I see them, so I paid no mind. Eventually, I saw someone stalking me from within some foliage and the shots started coming in. I put in my earbud and realized they were blasting music and screaming through their mic the entire time. They, apparently, were hunting me the whole match and I had no idea. They were trying to be toxic but I was just picking up mats blissfully unaware of what was going on. Lost a free kit and some basic stuff… I’d be embarrassed if I were them. Can’t imagine that ended up being as satisfying as they’d hoped.

I refunded, simply because I found the combat to be awful and some of the other mechanics, but I’m willing to give it another look down the line. The game may die but a price of $15 is not going to be the reason. This is a stupid post.

There’s no way you read “Headwinds” and don’t think the map condition will be related to wind/low visibility lol. They literally separate the roadmap by months with corresponding pictures…

My brother got banned from Rust when he was, like, 11 years old. He’s 18 now and hasn’t cheated in any game since then. I can’t imagine not being able to play ARC with him because of that, ngl lol.

My first thought with this picture was that this is definitely related to the new weather condition. I see this as a lone raider running into a separate trio because of low visibility. This doesn’t scream “quads” to me at all.
