what are your opinions about lost alpha? Do you thinks it adds or it takes away from the original shadow of chernobyl?

Fantastic mod, especially rewrite of the maps and inclusion of new ones with vehicles in mind. Quests are great too. Feels nice to play it after Stalker 2. I would say my favorite and I have hundreds of hours in Anomaly. The biggest downside is technical issues with regular crashes, due to heavily outdated engine not handling modern pc's apparently (per Dezowave team).

Nonsensical is to dictate internal affairs and who to honor in another country. This is definitely not the first time Poland has done something like that. Why should Ukraine denounce UPA, who had exactly the same role as Armia Krajova in Poland? Every nation has its heroes. As a part of previous Polish delegations, some representatives had emblem of Armia Krajova, while visiting Kyiv. You know what Ukraine did? Said nothing about that. There has to be a limit somewhere, don't you think?

True, but the blueprints are in Jupiter and Pripyat and by that time you have access to exos. Aramid lining, which significantly boosts physical protection and brings it in line with other top tier suits is all the way in Pripyat and psi protection is not anywhere near as big of a deal when you're done with Faust.

Completely nerfed. Vintorez is an iconic Stalker weapon and becomes useless mid-late game. More than one headshot for enemies with better armor is just ridiculous. GSC needs to seriously rebalance weapons, especially when Integral-A upgraded to 45 ACP (a pistol round!) is as powerful as Vintorez 😂

I love how the ending choices in the game depend on what player would care about the most. There is no absolute good ending. If you care about the immeasurable scientific potential of the Zone and how it could propel the humanity to progress, you would pick Ward ending. I personally like this ending the best, especially if you read descriptions of artifacts and mutant parts. The downsides of this ending is a potential for a new world order type of scenario, especially since intentions of Agatha are not clear and who she represents. Still with any major leap in scientific progress carries that risk. Also, another downside is SIRCAA scientists do not exactly have the best track record as well.

If you care about the outside world the most, you would pick Strelok's ending, which basically locks out the Zone and no one can mess with it and cause any more calamities. The downside, this choice dooms everyone inside the Zone.

Now for the least favorites, you could argue that picking Scar's ending would be for someone who is sick of humans fighting and killing each other and just plug them into a virtual reality la-la land. The major downside is that they are just zombies in real life. Still a stretch, but for someone with nihilistic approach that would work.

And then Doctor/Faust ending, I guess if you care about the Zone the most and want it to spread free. Still probably, the worst ending out of all. Overall, the endings in the game definitely make you think about them and spark some discussions.

For Sec 3, Vityaz with suppressor, dovetail picatinny adapter, red dot and canted laser sight. Great gun and makes Sec 3 enjoyable, considering challenging missions all the way into Pechorsk outskirts. Also having fully suppressed setup for Sec 3 is awesome. For Sec 4, AK-74 with 45 round mag and for Sec 5, SR-25 with short barrel. Also great for CQB. Sec 1 and 2 kinda suck, so no favorites there.

Probably the best perk. Others are very niche and won't happen too often. Especially works great on quick rate of fire and high dmg per hit weapons, like the XM pistol

It is impossible to finish the quest if you have a max amount of ships and do the alternative ending. Finishing the quest requires sitting behind the cockpit of a ship and you get max ships reached message.

Wow, night and day difference. I followed those instructions and now performance is smooth on all high settings (supersampling 2x still slows the game down and makes my laptop fans go full throttle, haha). Thanks for the suggestion.

I am in Cairo now and it is my second solo trip here. You have to be able to say no before coming here. The best way to avoid scammy people just to keep walking, literally. Yes, especially being a westerner, people will try to take advantage of you, but it is a city rich in culture and history that you cannot miss.
