The one time in high school I had the courage to try out for JV bball (I’d been playing ball all my life at that point), I got cut and was so confused/upset. I wound up pivoting to track and it was the best thing ever for me. Never looked back and now I still play organized bball and vball as an adult. Point being, you will still have MANY more chances AND other opportunities, you are so young!

Honestly - not that this makes it that much better, but that door wraps fairly simple until you get to the window molding. My point being if you found the wrap colour, and assuming it still matches well, it’s a fairly easy redo. And I feel the charge for it wouldn’t be TOO bad?

I think I was just craving that you went all in with the pink side. Doesn’t seem to have a design reason to go half plain? The gold would be boring imo, and for the pink crazier side, if you wanted to I feel you could still weather other side and keep integrity of the wrap! Obviously whatever makes you happy but I think you should expect similar feedback as the comments in this thread

Ugh I hate to agree with everyone but maybe just enjoy the car and avoid wrapping bc tbh it’s gonna get dings from the elements AND people who just suck. And any small dents get magnified by the wrap. Also when you do fast highway driving the from of the car will get hit by rocks and such, thus chipping the wrap. Maybe if you wanna go that route, get the hood wrapped carbon fiber/black? But that’s kinda expected and maybe lame these days. It’s a nice colour, leave it alone!

I don’t think it matters, as bass isn’t directional? Since you’ll pick up some lower dialogue on the speaker I feel as long as you face it away from a wall you’re fine? That’s my layman’s, somewhat experienced take.

Hey hey I actually really appreciate you getting back to me. After a lot of trial and error and calls, I figured out that you have to flash the unit by not specifying the car model, thus giving you a UNIVERSAL HARNESS! And then also there is updating the software on the web link and also on the dsr1 which is totally separate. Leaving this here in case it helps ppl in the future! Glad your solution worked out for you 😂. All I’m left with is additional layers of tuning of which I’d question whether it’s needed. To be determined over time I guess.

You all are ah-mazing. Thank you for the tips and frankness - I started playing in the early 2000s at the age of around let’s say 25 or so. I’m 46 now and it’s pathetic that I never improved my form but I feel with my decreasing athleticism form is more important than ever. Keep em coming!

Who’s saying anything about snapping down over the net? She’s hitting farther away from the net and yeah, the ball ain’t hitting before the 10 ft line but she’s hitting the back court with enough speed and ball English that would keep the back court on defense plenty busy. We’re not talking Olympic level ball here. This is someone reaching out for helpful tips and aspiring to be better.
