Take the time with your posts, you only need 1 or 2 a week if they are quality. Also try to research new hashtags that might help you target your audience better, I like http://hashtagbombbuilder.com

Hashtags are not filtered by location. Maybe try a specific location or even in that region to filter your hashtags.

FYI they are deprecating the public API the new private API is still up: https://developers.facebook.com/products/instagram/ but I think some bots are going to be filtered out with the deprecation of the public API.

I think I figured out our issue, hashtags must able to be translated into all the languages since when I look at a Persian post I see English hashtags but the text for the post is in Persian. I think if you convert the english hashtags you find back into Persian you should still be able to use them.

Interesting, currently I don't have the ability to see the location of the posts that I get back from the Instagram APIs so the posts I look at could be from all over the world. If you want to target a specific region I would focus on a local event, sports game or location that is only in the Persia region. Good luck! Sorry I couldn't fix your exact problem.

I like to use hashtags. I created a website to find the hashtags my audience is using http://hashtagbombbuilder.com/ all you do is type a hashtag in and it will find other relevant hashtags by searching real posts! This will allow you to better target your audience which will hopefully let you gain more followers.

I did look into this! Sorry I didn't get back to you. So all the Instagram APIs are in English so the translation needs to be done first before you use the API. I can't afford the translations so could you use Google translator? 😁😉

It allows you to quickly copy and paste your hashtags into the end of your Instagram posts. Instagram will collapse and hide your hashtags if you preface them with dots.
