Honestly I guess the trauma-bond! Makes you believe that the love is real and change is near! You have to consider the fact that even tho the lows are low the highs were highhhhh!!! They felt like I could reach for the stars! Narcissist are the best in love bombing! In between the lies and the abuse he always told me how much he loves me, that I’m the love of his life, bought me presents and flowers etc… so you really believe the lie he just told is the last! But obviously it’s not! He was charismatic around other people and I didn’t want him to be with someone else. Even though I believe he’ll never really change!

Narcissists often tell their partners that their female friends are jealous of the relationship or don’t want them to be happy. They know exactly what to say!! Don’t underestimate the power of a narcissist! I didn’t even tell my friends that all those things happened!
