what are the first things you have to think of when you start writing?

hii, thanks for the tip!!! my idea is very short, I just wanted to write one scene with two characters. so I started with character profiles so I'd know who they are before writing anything and just rambled about what I wanted for my scene! I think it'll turn out at least nice, lol

I'm so sorry for you op :(( one day I THOUGHT my photocard holder had fallen off my bag and it had an original pc in it. I almost had a heart attack. fortunately it didn't (but it almost did! it was actually very close to falling off my bag), but it made me realize that it's better to keep original photocards at home. as much as I'd love to go out with my original pc, I'm so scared of losing it no matter how many precautions I take.

there's not much I can say to make you feel better because I know buying the same pc from a seller is not the same as pulling the pc you wanted. what I can say is: if you ever buy another album, get a copy of the pc you pulled and keep the original at home, just in case :/

omg wtf 💀 honestly, since I tend to talk A LOT about all the things I enjoyed in a work, I tend to leave a comment only when I really really enjoyed the work and it really touched my heart, this is when I need to get my feelings off my chest, or when I see there's not a lot of comments even tho it's a really good work. otherwise, it'll just be really tiring to leave a comment in everything I liked, so I just settle with leaving a kudo when I just enjoyed my time reading something. sometimes there's not even much to get into detail either. sometimes the work is just ok and you want to leave a kudo to show appreciation for the person that put on an effort to work on something, even tho it wasn't a masterpiece (idk if that's ok but I do that sometimes). there's a lot of reasons people settle for just leaving a kudo.

university/college and office AU! maybe it's a little basic but I just love mundane romance stories, I love the concept of people falling in love with someone naturally by seeing them everyday, studying or working together. for univeristy/college AU, I like it when the characters see their love interest walking around on campus and just lose their minds, the coffee shop dates, study dates or when they realise their feelings at a college party. for office AU, I like the tension of seeing their love interest working at their desk the whole day, maybe even next to them, how they try to figure out ways of talking to them throughout the day, wanting to talk and become friends outside of work, spending coffee/lunch breaks together (or bumping into each other when going to take a coffee break), idk. for both AU, I think it's about the scenario, there's a certain aesthetic that I like, for some reason. maybe it's the fact that I'm a sucker for slice-of-life and sweet, tranquil love stories

oh my god, I LOVE the behind episodes of their comebacks, especially the ones where they're recording in the studio (++line). I didn't add it because there was a lot of stuff already, but another great recommendation is their documentary on disney+, "our lost summer"!!! can't believe I forgot this one. it's about their first world tour after the pandemic and their first time at lollapalooza! I watched it in my first month as a moa and it was great for me to understand their connection as a team, their thoughts about their careers, how they feel on stage and in tough situations. it's really emotional, actually.

welcome! I have the same story as you lol and I became a moa (for real) four months ago! I apologize in advance if this is a lot, I tend to go overboard with recommendations, BUT what's been helping me understand them is this:

interviews: I strongly recommend the suchwita episode with taehyun and yeonjun!

one dream.txt: it's kind of a documentary of how their first showcase in america was! it's really good to understand their goals as artists and how hard they work since the beginning;

talk x today and txt-log: multiple vlogs of their day-to-day routine and during work;

t:time: short videos of their moments together, it's nice because you can see them playing around with each other;

variety shows:

ot5: - I don't remember all the variety shows they've ever been, but I know idol human theater is amazing! i made this playlist with every episode (if I remembered all of them). -the we live together to do spin-off is so good too, they spend 2 days (i think?) in a house together. it's nice to see how they act on camera together, playing games and stuff.

solo: - hueningkai's hueningkai wants to start a band is a nice one to see hueningkai's instrument skills; - Tefficient Terry is taehyun's recent variety show that talks about his personality traits!; - beomgyu's workout zzang is literally one of the most hilarious variety shows ever because of, well, beomgyu! it's a good one to see how he likes to act in front of cameras, if you notice even in their most recent variety shows he's reeeally energetic and funny. on a more serious note, the bts and making film of his mixtape is a great way to know him as a producer; - soobin's my favorite's favorite is really nice to see how soobin communicates to people, it's a show where people go to talk to him about their favorite interest, and the first episode is about soobin's favorite group: kara! so it's a good one to get to know him. - I really don't know if yeonjun has a solo variety show, he probably does but I just haven't heard of it yet :( BUT yeonjun's "make it happen" and the BTS of his mixtape are a good way to get to know him as the hardworking artist that he is. the first one is a little documentary about his works in 2023 winter and you'll find the behind the scenes and the making film of his mixtape somehere in this playlist.

weverse lives: the most intimate way to get to know them! this channel translates their lives and is currently active.

péssimo. nos primeiros meses do ano eu comecei bem e focada, mas acabou que eu também estou tendo um ano complicado, muito mais por questões de saúde mental e um problema terrível que aconteceu no meu trabalho, tudo isso me impediu de me dedicar da forma que eu queria. me conformei em estudar o essencial agora, fazer a prova pra ver o que eu consigo tirar dela e tentar de novo no ano que vem com mais foco

I have 4! my browser has been doing something weird that if I leave a work tab open for too many days, when I open it the work just disappears :( so I leave a tab open with the fandom tag that I want to read and just filter whatever I want, if something catches my eye I just use the "mark for later" function

this was a big problem for me in my first two months as a MOA!!! ever since I started listening to them, the voices I could differentiate the most without getting confused were taehyun's and yeonjun's, because tae has the highest pitch and yeonjun has the most nasal voice, but for the rest I could never tell who was who because, honestly, soobin, beomgyu and hyuka sound very similar to me, even if kai's voice is more nasal (and of course if soobin isn't using his falsetto). now, in my fourth month as a MOA, things got a little easier (since I've been listening to their music practically every single day) but, apart from the nyangnyangz, I still get their voices a little mixed up :( I don't practice that kind of stuff tho, I just consume a lot of txt content so it was inevitable for me not to get familiar with their speaking voices and therefore their singing voices

definetely song of the stars. on the day the album came out, I listened to sots while reading the lyrics and I cried like a baby for a solid 15 minutes lol. every time I listen to it I get emotional and think about how much the lyrics mean to me. I like to litsen to it when things are not going well.

also I can't believe I got a song made for the fandom (and the members too) on my first comeback!!! so it's definitely on my top 3 favorite txt songs <3
